When Chris says that lab haters are a minority, how right is he?
" Both of those methods would be non-random sampling as well. " Adding steam punk motorized vehicles and a Mario-Kart style racetrack would be unique too, but I'd need more than it's uniqueness to like it. |

Lab isn't fun to play at all. I wish the ascendency points weren't connected to it so I could do fun stuff instead.
Vote +1 to change Path of Exile to Path of Nerfs.
We hate to say, but ProjectPT was right. |

I think with trials gone, way less people will be "lab haters".
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

You're missing 'somewhat like' and 'somewhat dislike'. At least do these polls properly man, now I got nothing to pick, jeez, and I so really wanted to vote.
Wish the armchair developers would go back to developing armchairs.

" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Literary_Digest every scholar since 1936. Your poll is pointless because the sample is biased as many others pointed out before me. Oh well - haters gonna hate. |

I think if you discount all the people that fall into "Eh, I'm not a fan", "I don't really care either way, just one of those things to do" and only count the people that actually hate the lab, then they are probably a minority.
Based on the forums at least, which isn't exactly a perfect measurement, I'd say more people fall into the "It needs improvements before I can like/love it" category than outright hate. |

" It's pretty straight forward. They don't need to run silly highly inaccurate polls because they can see the engagement with the area. Most of the forum yelling/whining is from an extremely small portion of the player base (same with any game forum). It would be a fair assumption that the people who don't bother going to a hate poll are ok with, or enjoy the content. and that's what's reflected for GGG in the actual numbers. People who DO dislike something on the other hand are very vocal, so we probably see about 90% of those that DONT like it coming to the forums to say so, which is very very few people. i like the idea of a lab that is actually playable end game, i mean, an alternative to maps,
something different to do once in awhile, its cool, run for enchantments, i like that idea, BUT the merciless lab is too low level ... actually the new lab is probably too low level also, its a shame, itd be cool if it was actually worth killing the enemies in the lab, as it is they are just in the way, run past em so it turns the lab into "just get thru it as fast as possible" .. which... thats what its designed for, they even made race thing, and thats DUMB AS HELL!!! the design shouldve been centered on making the player want to stay in the lab longer and explore the lab, MAKE THE TREASURES WORTH A DAMN i tried getting the treasure things the first 2 or 3 times i went in, but the drops are SO CRAP its TOTALLY NOT WORTH THE TIME AT ALL what they need is like some orb or, a whole different set of items that can only drop in the lab, they have like what? 5 or something uniques lab exclusive?? it needs like 30+ items lab exclusive, make the lab a bit shorter, make it short but tall, so you can get to the end quicker than it is for enchants/ascendancy, but theres alot of side rooms up and down to find the exclusive treasures - this makes people that dont like lab/ feel its a chore happier, and it make people that like to explore/ like the lab happier .. it gives the lab a purpose that doesnt feel mandatory, it gives people a desire to explore it GGG youre welcome, now hire me as a designer, you obviously need me Last edited by CaoMengde#7666 on May 25, 2016, 9:11:36 PM

He spams his shit polls all over Reddit, too, where he gets constantly downvoted because literally nobody likes him. It has been explained to him, time and time again, that his polls are biased and useless and will never result in anything. Y'all are wasting your breath.
Shitposters gonna shitpost. |

Whatever you think of the op, there is no need for the name calling stuff. If people don't agree with the way the game is going then they have as much right to say so as anyone else. Ever heard of Martin Luther King, or any number of other protesters who stood up for their beliefs that something was wrong and wanted to do something about it? Sure, PoE is "just a game" and not a national or world changing event, but everyone has a right to voice what they believe to be right or wrong. Guys like you who belittle others just because you disagree with their ideas or beliefs are the worst kind of people. Calling the guy a "shitposter"... It reveals a lot about your own character, what sort of a person you are. There's no need for that kind of behavior. |
