Well, a fishing rod DID drop for me this league (Perandus), but I never had the hat equipped. The drop actually was from a possessed Ironpoint the Forsaken in the Climb. Fairgraves Tricorne also dropped at the same time and a Albino Rhoa Feather.







I guess it was a really RNG-troll roll when the items dropped.

there IS a tormented spirit named "Illegal Fisherman".

but this spirit (possessed ofc) never dropped anything for me. others said he dropped a rod for them but only when possessing a unique mob. it's not verfied though.

on the other hand:
are you sure you didn't open a perandus box? because there IS a very rare box that is know to drop all 3 items at once.
