Some things I need to say after playing PoE for 3 months
" I find many people who play ARPG to be socially awkward and crude in manners. There, I said it. |

Thanks for your kind words guys, please feel free to save Vouko's image if you like it, I think he looks pretty cute in that one and that way he could live a little bit longer, even if it is through his picture.
@Entropic_Fire Yes, I've been playing ARPGs since the original Diablo (we called them hack'n'slash back then), but I'm no expert in any of those games, just enjoying that kind of gameplay and PoE is the best of their kind IMO. @marcos459 I'm not an army guy! Military service is mandatory in my country (Greece) and we only serve for about a year, although training and exercises were pretty tough there, playing the same maps in PoE for more than 9 hours a day have left me more exhausted than when I served there. @Brelm I don't know why you got the idea of "ham-handed bragging", I was trying to explain my experience as a new player competing to a Race event, could be my bad English but you were warned at the very top of my post about that. Also you missed the name of the guy who's build inspired me to keep playing PoE after lvl 90 (which is pure grind after that point), his acc name, KorgothBG and link to his guide are there for everyone to see, I even admitted that I wouldn't be playing PoE if it wasn't for his build, that's how much I enjoy it. And yes I also feel that KorgothBG won the race, where every other Slayer who was competing with me played Earthquake (which in the Ascendancy Tree is the exact opposite of what Flicker uses), KorgothBG's build proved that despite being a solo build, Flicker is far superior and way faster. As far as hardcore/softcore goes, I don't care what's is going on in HC either. Personally I think it's a waste of time and only streamers can profit from it, since a lag spike/bad connection/frame rate drop, or even a little mistake can kill you, which is just pure luck if it happens or not and the death is only entertaining if other people witnessed it. Plus I find it ironic how the self-proclaimed macho men of HC, can so quickly turn into little girls with trembling hands as they reach out to their Alt-F4s and Esc/quit to login buttons at the sight of their HP pool dropping :D @ThatsSoGoodman Yes thank you, I came upon that guide before KorgothBG's Flicker, but as you said it seemed too complicated for a new player. And tbh I still find it a bit too advanced for a noob like me. |

Perandus hc was a free loot league , GGG will never make the same mistake again . Hopefully you enjoyed it cuz soon it will be over forever .

Gratz mate! I'm glad to see that my guide helped a bit along the way ;)

" I'm not 100% sure that will be the case (the forever bit). It made the game far more accessible to far more people than I think any previous league. I think GGG sees some benefit in providing more avenues to item attainment. Personally I really enjoyed finally feeling like I was able to participate in the economy and for once I had access to items I normally can't get access to. I also bought and sold more items this league than I have in the entire time I've played POE. I will miss Brodiro. OP: Great post. Ignore the haters. POE Serenity Prayer: GGG, grant me the serenity to accept the RNG I cannot change,
the courage to challenge any unbalanced content, and the wisdom to avoid the forums. Mad: "Oh, it's simple and if you insist... I just think you're a dick. That's all." QFT: 4TRY4C&4NO |

Sorry to hear about your cat. :-(
And don't worry about the haters, I enjoyed the read, OP. I never care for the races of new leagues and ladderboards myself, as I just don't have the free time to play so much. But I will start casually enjoying leagues for the new content. Have a new build to try out in Prophecy, similar to the CI, high-ES, claw builds, but with my own spin. Grats on your progress in the last league. ▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄▄

" hi troll. thx for inspiring new players. thank god 99% of the community is not like you |

" This post (the OP) inspired me to try throwing an Oro's on one of my standard characters and try flicker strike for the first time ever. It sucked pretty hard so I must have done it wrong, but I can now see the appeal of the build. Maybe I'll try again when my Atziri's Disfavour rolls over to std. |

A great post! Many grats to OP for reaching 99 in the racing and I am sorry for your cat----one of my cats died too this year, so I can understand totally what do you feel.
