After dying at 88 in the 2week to something vry unlikely(still not sure what it was. like no blocks at all or something) im 88 again and going strong :D have to get to top 25 :D
finally got a good axe today

this build is rly rly save even with the crazy mods. but two things you have to be worried about:

chaos damage (now that my gear gets slowly better im trying to get some chaos res)
corrupted bloodline. Cause of the fact that everything explodes at once you will get a lot of stacks if the pack is huge. take care with your flasks. 1-2 staunching are a must.

wow gratz!

I'm lv93 in 2weeks SC but I'm still using the stupid jack axe.
this build is pure fun and super safe, you can literaly go in w/e map mods you dont care.

but i cant manage to do aziri :(
faceroll evrything but aziri i get all flameblast in my face and die
I was gonna go for a similar thing with an Atziri's Disfavour and Snakebite Gloves. Always bleed, always poison, and add rapid decay to the set up instead of...well I'm not sure really. Maybe conc effect. Was also gonna go ranger for the frenzy charge synnergy and use Frenzy the skill gem for single target. Tough choice between Gladiator (nice bleed synnergy, get nothing from the smaller +1h nodes), Slayer (strong damage, no Frenzy support), and my planned Raider (35% frenzy charge duration, +1 charge, still some ok attack speed/attack damage).

Did you consider the other ascendancies for this build? What pushed you to Gladiator, was it the tankiness + shield?

If you want to go Disflavour, Berserker might be a better choice. The 40% more damage of Aspect of Carnage is ridiculous for bleeding/poison. With Disflavour and Aspect of Carnage, berserker can deal much much higher bleeding damage than a gladiator, however, much more glass-cannon as well. (Probably reflect will become an issue) You have to find a good way to build your defense (maybe tri-curse?)

Yea Atziri is not our favorite since she won't move and immune to knockback.

But even so, lv70 Atziri is pretty easy anyway...

few tips:
1. bring vaal lightning trap for quick kill in clone stage.
2. Don't hit the reflect clone.
3. Dodge flameblast as much as you can
just trying this build

kinda fun and tanky

but really hard to find good axe with 1 prefix open

i bought this for 5 chaos

but i hate that acc :(

One question:
Ist the damage% from "Increased damage with Axes" from keystones or jewels double dipping with poison or bleeding, or only area damage?

Are you going to update this build for 2.3 when the league starts? I think that this build could be good for starting in a new league.

I'll update it for sure :) I don't think there're many new stuff for this build in 2.3 tho, we'll see.

BTW I just got the #21 gladiator demigod with this build in 2-weeks PSC flashback :) I used Jack Axe until I reached lv94, and I killed T15 daresso pretty easily with Jack too. Half of my gears were self-found and I played completely solo. So now I can proudly say it's a really good starter build in new leagues :)

No they don't, because the bleeding/poison don't inherit as "damage with melee weapons" or any "melee" related types.

bleeding/poison only inherit as area/proj/mine/trap/totem/minion damage, so yea, "area damage" can double-dip them.
