Two-Week Competitive Perandus Events

How about a permutation of it:

No equipment drops, only currency.
Equipment drops are replaced with Perandus Coins, 1-5 instead of a white, 6-15 instead of a magic, 16-50 instead of a rare and 51-1000 instead of a unique.
Cadiro is in every area.
Vendors still sell items and skill gems as do masters.
League obviously needs to be voided.

It's end-of-the-season sales. Everything must go out!

an extra chance to win anything is good even though I've never been so lucky I like the sound of it.

at a recent GGG meeting.....

"ok guys and gals, it's time again for another short temp league. Who has some ideas?"
<dead silence and blank stares fill the room>
"so nobody has any fun ideas?...... ok fuck it, someone push reset on the current perandus league that everyone is bored of and end it at 2 weeks."

more late game content would be good. i get bored running maps over and over. especially since its better a bit, but still hard to get high level maps. low level maps do no good except chisels for high levels. even something more like daileys. all level 8 and mid 90's what to do? you know love the game just want to help improve.

So you are trying to kill off a league that is basically dead already?

Seriously did some guy just walk into the office all like: "Hey folks listen up I got a great idea, let's do a 2 week league while the 3 month is still running for a month with barely any players left!" and all other people calling the shots were like "Yeah that's hot sh*t! Let's split our playerbase up even more!"?



On a more serious note:

How about centering further game developement more on endgame content, especially PvP balance and other long term motivation focussed content?

silly question. is this event self found or we can still buy stuff via poe.trade?

Demigod's Dominance is not even worth equipping... why not a better prize?

Your reasoning here is more circular than you might think. You are complaining about a less than innovative approach to a 2 week event, which is probably the case because they are working on other things to improve the overall game. Then you proceed to plead for game improvements, which is probably exactly what they are doing here. You complain about something that is necessary for what you apparently really want. smh.

IMO, you don't like it, don't do it. Prize seems a little meh. Might be exciting -- to improve your chance of getting a prize, you would roll the opposite of what is OP or what you usually do. It is giving some appeal to more exotic choices, which is cool in my book.
