You are mistaken. Energy Shield modifiers definitely do apply to the conveted mana->es. Like with all things that use the conversion mechanics, it's also affected by modifiers to what it was (mana) and additive modifiers to either of these things apply additively. It's affected by increased mana and by increased energy shield, but those things are additive modifiers and will apply additively with each other.

If that is your intended mechanic, then it is utterly disappointing.
Was that really your intention guys? Was that really a conscious decision?


There are things that are intentionally bad in the game, remember pre ascendancy Lion's roar? No1 was ever using them because it consumed way too much flask charges.
The realease of the new melee skills were a heavy influence I guess.

However I have no idea why they do this, maybe just trying to control the metagame/try to make people try the items when they want, if pledge or an other OP mana scaling unique were released, then this node would be working as everyone expected it just so you would be hiped to try it.

I don't try to badmouth any1 as I really love the game, but when you see something broken in the game that is most likely to be intentional ,at least in LoL it was, so they forced chertain champions to be played in the LCS, but that also had some business thing behind it like newly released skins, which GGG does not do, I mean we even received a free visual update on split arrow, when they released the skin for it.

Honestly seems that two strongest nodes in hierophant are both 2 points.
Maybe I won't delete this char then... Idk, still considering it. Just to stop being salty about how bad the ascendancy is.
Gravity is just a prejudice. A part of Earth's jurisdiction. As an apache helicopter, I find that very oppressive.
