For people who play hardcore...

kill a group of mobs, read chat with nothing around you, die from bearers

I just played my first HC character ever in an arpg. I got to lvl 52 cruel act 3. I didn't have a single "ow, that was close!" -moment during the whole playthrough and then I just died in like 0,2 seconds to something which I still don't know what it was! Yeaah, I'm going back to softcore.
Unfortunately I really don't have enough play time or patience for hardcore. Maybe I'll try it again someday when I have experienced most of the higher level content, which I haven't yet since I've always rerolled for various of reasons at around lvl 70. At least now I don't have to think about it anymore, been there done that.
I get it that it's really hard to make it challenging and hard, without making spiky damage. But my death was just silly, I know the game pretty well and there wasn't anything that had taken more than like 1/6th of my health during the whole play through and then suddenly BAM you're dead! Oh well...
