[2.2] BoR Cyclone Dualwield 5K HP 67K tooltip DPS (Resolute technique) Atziri viable

Sup guys,

I had a free respec on my lvl 66 duelist, so I thought to work around with cyclone and different setups.

Well now I'm lvl 81 and ended up with The Bringer of Rain most likely.
I played with Abyssus for a while and used a 6L bellys.
Later I switched to 4-link setup with Kaoms heart and Abyssus.(Using Bringer rather than Kaoms heart + Abyssus = about 1k HP less with my tree/gear.) The playstyle was cool and the dps was nice. But I somehow found that the survivability isn't as great.

This is what made me decide to use Bringer. And now at lvl 81 with 5K HP and 67K tooltip DPS I feel quite comfortable, and of course the added block from bringer + blind etc makes it better in my opinion.

I chose Champion Ascendancy, specifically the keystones: Inspirational, First to strike, last to fall and Unstoppable Hero.

It adds damage, attack speed and movement speed.

I use 2 auras. Hatred and Grace. (Grace provides a nice amount of armour since with my tree I use iron reflexes. With my gear/tree I got 9.4k Armour atm.)
I run the auras both on mana of course, using a Soul Taker to you know, don't give a shit about "how do I manage to use my skill when I have no mana, blood magic and such crap)

I don't claim to have invented something of course, there are loads of cyclone builds out there, probably even several similar to mine. Just thought to share my build cause I like it and it's fun to play also. It shouldn't be too expensive to build it, if you have the gems already, and maybe a few rare items you could use.
I use legacy The Bringer of Rain, though non-legacy Soul Taker.
So if you have a legacy Soul Taker, you will have even more DPS, and if you have a better off-hand weapon than me (320 phys dps, average attack speed) then you could get insane DPS :)

First I played with Soul Taker + 1h Sword, took nodes for Swords from the tree as well, later though, I found the Axe I'm using now, and specced out of the Sword nodes, (took more Axe nodes/life nodes instead.)

So you're pretty free to use whatever you like.. Also you can adjust the tree to your preferences(weapon specific stuff etc. as well as getting more hp instead of damage, or the other way round.)

Don't know what else to say for now.

I didn't try Atziri with it, you can try it yourself if you want :D
Edit2: Just now, at lvl 82 I did Atziri - deathless on the first try, without changing
anything from my setup(including flasks, I didn't use topaz or ruby)

Have fun with the build, if you're going to try it out

Edit: Additional info, as you can see in the Bringer, I'm using Increased Area of Effect gem.
You can also choose something else here if you like, if you're fine with the aoe your cyclone does without it. I didn't think about using another gem instead though, I like it like that.

Also you could use a cwdt curse setup if you like. That's what I'm not using yet, but maybe will.

As for rare items, stack as much HP as possible..like most of the time with life builds?! :)
get max resis obviously, and stack armour/evasion, to be more tanky.

The Rumi's Concotion flask is not necessary but can be useful in certain situations.
I use 2 life flasks, not perfectly rolled as you can see, but it does its work if needed.
Removes Bleeding mod is a must on at least 1 or 2 flasks in my opinion.
To roll it on life flasks is best, since you regen life at the same time the effect stops(my opinion).

Hi, thank you :)

Yes it does, the wiki states that ^^

if you play with the Increased Area of Effect gem then you don't need to worry about the radius of your cyclone.

have fun

Edit: one nice thing I didn't mention is, that there are still quite a few lvl's to go
of course, I'm only lvl 82, someone with a lvl 90+ char will have more life/damage whatever he goes for in the tree and the best thing is, everything is easy to catch, if it's life nodes or damage nodes or whatever

unfortunately not, never did a video and probably never will :D I don't know

I just like to share an idea from time to time.

btw: if you get your hands on varunastra (which only drops in perandus league, but you can buy it in standard league too) you can adjust the tree a slightly bit, there are good nodes in the tree for varunastra, such as "Deadly Dilettante" near duelist start at the right side, which gives 72% increased damage to varunastra.
Another good node (+ more nodes in the same circle) for varunastra can be found at the marauder start and it's called "By the blade" it's 96% increased damage for varunastra and 48% increased damage for soul taker if you take all damage nodes from that circle! seems insane.

Have fun!
