Hello! Here's my entry. I really enjoyed the labyrinth and especially the blades. So I decided to try something in that direction.

My entry. I couldnt get radiant body armour but I still love the set. I'm not talented enough to do fancy shadowing so im stuck with simple coloring, but at least I have a new wallpaper for my phone.

I wish I could digital art and stuff, but I am happy with pencil and participation. I just wanted to convey that wonderful feeling we have all had in the lab when Cadiro decides he finds it appropriate to wait among the traps.

My entry:

Labyrinth behind the scenes: Izaro's underlings pitch the implementation of a souvenir shop.
(Also: How Cadiro got away with all those labyrinth uniques).

I probably could spend another billion hours on this (and fix the lighting) but I've got a cold and should rest or something. Took me a bit more than 18 hours (note to self: Next time, don't do anything with characters in it. Those take forever).

Anyways, it was fun (especially when every time I was about to go "nooo I'm sick I stop here and call it done" I went and saw the new entries here and got fired up again). : D
LKChiara, dayum, so adorable! I hope it becomes an easter egg in the Labyrinth or something, now i feel an urgent need for a blade hat!
Jealous rant not take seriously haha

My brother is in contest so I wont talktrash him too much but why professional or semi-pro artist think they should enter contest? Like I wanted to participate but then I see my borther and others and I am like : it is like playing against rmters lol.

Like those pros have time too much on hands but they could pay for those armor packs because some of them in their deviant clearly already work for video game company.

Cleary some artist are cheap (no offense :P)

Anyway, awesome art in this contest I just wish those poor pen and paper guys had a chance compared to all those pros.

If my bro read that, go back to work instead of doing poe contest lol.

Well, I've learned my lesson on trying to be needlessly complex when I don't have the ability to make something out of it...

edit: It probably took about 16-20 hours. Basically, I don't have a clue what I'm doing Lol.

I totally understand where you're coming from, and while I'm not even semi-pro, I think these incredible artists just want to participate in something related to their passion for games and art. My reason for entering is because I'm trying to improve, and I think PoE is an incredible game, so of course I'm going to give it a go.

Seeing a few entries makes my entry seem sad, but oh well...I'll never consider myself "very good", even if I become a pro, because there will always be someone better than me.

I understand what you mean, but last contest (Talisman) proved GGG doesn't just award technical flawless entries, but also creativity and effort. Yes, some of the winners had "professional" paintings of zero-effort scenarios, but others had very fun and creative entries with a lot of technical problems (perspective, shading, color palette, even conceptual).

So I believe there is a good opportunity for any level amateurism.
