Pros -The damage is awesome. -Freeze EVERYTHING ! -High clear speed -High life and survivability because of screen freeze Cons -Soooo damn boring until you hit 75 and hit that SWEET doryani's sceptre :D -May lag if too many mobs are near you -Can't run ele reflect, might be some issues (still testing) -Can't run BM maps...or ...maybe it can, but you won't like it .. The essential part of the build is not the Glacial Hammer skill itself but the Herald of Ice mechanics. Glacial Hammer is a very underused skill, because you can always find a better option like Ice Crash or some other crap skill. BUT! it's not all about the damage of AoE or god knows what else, it's about the fun you can have with a build, like freezing the sh*t out of a WHOLE SCREEN of mobs and then shattering the entire mass :D Let's run this up fast ## Gear explanation ##

ok so The Tomahawk is easy, with 50% ele conversion from Glacial Hammer and the 25% from the Tomahawk , we have 75% phys to cold (witch is AWESOME) and some lightning damage that will shock from our tree shock chance passives, so ...extra damage. Not to mention that any elemental damage node will have maximum efficienty now, including the Doryani's Sceptre, that will absolutely explode your damage, benefiting much more from it's elemental damage leech The one thing you must understand, is that this is NOT A TOOLTIP DAMAGE BUILD, the whole damage is based on ELEMENTAL PENETRATION, and you should get about 110% ++ at full build and 6 link chest having in mind the cold penetration gem and frostbite+blasphemy+passives+ascendancy passive :). All in all , the dmg tooltip should be decent, but the actual dmg shoul be double ...and then some ....not to mention the HEAPS of freeze you'll be spitting out that count for surviveability. As for the Helm, Devoto's Devotion is the best option you can hope for, and the most important thing on it is the 60+dex ....the dex we need to sustain the lvl of our Herald Of Ice. The amulet serves the same purpose , plus the extra freeze chance, and life ...all in all a very suitable amulet for the build. I saw other use Kaom;s Boots for the leg piece, that unwaivering stance ...seems ...i dunno, i just don't like it, i'll try to go with some armor boots with an extra CWDT setup. Same for gloves , armor +life+resists+atk speed ...if you can afford all that. Stil updating. Skill tree lvl 73, ongoing: Gems real fast :

Main skill - Glacial Hammer - links are: Glacial Hammer+Multistrike+Melee Physical Damage+ Weapon elemental damage+Cold penetration+Melee splash( the last link , you can play with ....you can try increase AoE for more fun freezing, if it's a crowded map. or ...Ice bite for that extra freeze chance and free frenzy on kill...i dunno, have fun with it) Main aura skill - Herald of Ice Heral of Ice + increase AoE + cold penetration + hypothermia Curse Aura Frostbite + Blasphemy Cast when damage taken CWDT + increase duration + frost bomb CWDT + rejuvenation totem + flame golem Don't forget about blood rage somewhere in there, those 4 frenzy charges WILL do the trick ;) Jewels :

The amulet acutally helps a LOT with the dexterity needed for the build. For the same reason we have this helm equipped. And doryani's scepter of course, but i haven't reached 75 yet... I use a Belly of the beast as a chest piece, and 2 elreon two-stone rings, hoping to get some life on them in the near future Still updating ... Ascendancy Class:

Awesome idea.
I have done this before but I usually go crit and travel from Templar down to Duelist and then over to Ranger/Shadow. Sometimes even going Acro. It yields plenty of dex so I don't run into those problems but I don't gain as much elemental damage. |

U don't use melee splash? How do you deal with pack of mobs? But in your video it seems you are using melee splash
