I dont really run t1-t5 maps, even with AoW released, but the only chaos dmg boss you should care about is *maybe* Museum Maligaro and of course, Core Maligaro. With the 1st I never had any problem. 5,4k Hp 1,8k Mana, unique flask setup (no Atziri's Promise). 25% chaos res on boots. With Vinktar's I simply leech through the chaos dmg.

Maybe try switching your Essence Worm for a Ming's Heart for those bosses?

Anyway I think the build is solid enough, did corrupted t15 Overgrown Ruin deathless, +Vulnerability // +100% Dmg as Lightning Dmg // +50%Hp // +35%Boss dmg. It was somewhat tough since I was lvl 90 and barely any crit nodes, so clunky flask recharge at the boss fight, but certainly doable.

Yeah but I have no unique flasks, that seems to make all the difference. The golem boss in grotto hit me for like 4.3k, it nearly 1 shot me with -60 chaos resists.

I also don't have essence worm. This league hasn't been too good for me for drops (have around 30 chaos total so far and didn't buy anything). Currently averaging 30m/exp doing T3-T4 maps at level 83.

BV just hit L19. I think my tooltip DPS is around 7.3k with a 4L BV + spell echo + controlled destruction + conc effect. I run conc effect all the time just to help with leeching but I do have inc aoe and added fire being leveled on the side.

The 10% lightning pen Vinktar flask is shit for pathfinder right? The 20% convert variant is mandatory or is the lightning damage to spells good?

There's really nothing wrong with any of those. Lightning Pen Vinktar and Physical to Lightning are both good and very usable.

So what are the favorite ascension points in 2.4?
First I decided to go to Master Alchemist. I feel like the passive flask charges and the 20% chance of not consuming charges is pretty nice. Since I got Nature's Boon, I got Master Alchemist for the utility and damage.

Now I started wondering, with the nerfs to BV stacks, how useful is Master Surgeon's 10% flask charge on crit?
I only have 30% crit with charges (cause my gear is shit), but even with 50% crit chance, how many charges could you get vs a boss?

Wouldn't it be better altogether to respect into Herbalist and Bowyer instead of Surgeon and Adrenaline?
How often (and how many times) do you need to cast 2nd BV? Is casting it once every 10 seconds while having the other stacks come from main BV setup enough?

Yeah that's about good enough. I tend to cast it a few times just to make sure when I jump into a pack that warlord's is on every monster ASAP.

It's really not as bad as it sounds, even without the cash shop alternate effect to differentiate the BVs.

You'll eventually get into a rhythm where you'll know when you need to cast it.
Okay few questions I'm still slightly confused about.

1. Faster casting over spell echo? I feel FC seems to proc our 2nd BV without delay unlike spell echo.

2. Both whirling blades and shield charge are bad. Were they nerfed? We cover more distance in the same time than either skill just by running.

3. Is the only reason we get a dagger/divinarius so we can use whirling blades? WB is much slower than I remember it being. Also I seem to get much more dmg with a wand rather than dagger. Double spl dmg rolls etc.
Lvl 86 so far.

5.5k HP pool. 1.3k mana pool. 5L with BV + Spell Echo + Added Fire + Controlled Destr + Phys to Light (I don't have a conversion Vinktar). 10k BV dmg with Hatred on.

Uber Izaro is destroying me in the last phase. No matter what I try. When flasks are out you need to keep running like a chicken through the room waiting for the adds to spawn. In the meantime, you have to keep an eye on Izaro and other on the traps. Feel like the crits are not recharging the flasks the way I thought it would. For Uber Lab I'm running 2 instant recovery life flasks, Vinktar, Quicksilver and a Mana flask.

Izaro being so aggressive leaves you few opportunities to charge BV and the CoH BV setup is unreliable. In a fight where the boss can 1 shot you it's really difficult to maintain stacks.

Is anyone struggling as well to get Uber Lab done?

Here's my updated gear:

Any tips on lab fights? Do you go for manual casting on Warlord's Mark? As far as I know CoH setup is meaningless against Izaro himself. Without End. Charges it feels too squishy as well.

isnt it better to use artic armour and have 65% mana? or at least until you have your flasks set up?

I personally still feel it is worth it, I just don't see how else you would sustain flask charges at bosses (especially bosses who don't spawn regulary adds).

Given you keep 20 stacks up (20 hits per second) and you crit for 30%, which means you get 6 crits (charges) per second. If a flask keeps up for about 8 seconds you have gained 48 charges. So with 30% crit chance and a good vinkar (~80 increased charges used) you'll need about 9 seconds to be able to use vinktars again.

So I guess when you can get ~35-40% crit you can use flask pretty much unlimited on bosses. Given you can damage all the time. :)

[edit]
I'm not sure about natures boon in regard of charge generation. It would take me 156 seconds until I could use my Vinktars again, if I assume my only flask generation is natures boon. I feel the only good thing about natures boon is the reduced damage taken (elemental) and 20% chance of a free flask use... but this feels wonky to me.
