Hi I have been searching through this thread but I haven't found a good or detailed answer regarding CI.

I am aware that low life obviously gives more DPS, but is much more expensive.

What are the tradeoffs of CI versus life? The way I see it, if you go CI and dump the life flask, you can use both ruby and basalt, which would give you more tankyness since this build is focused around flask usage anyway

As CI, you may reserve your mana for whatever you need. Also, you will have 100% chaos resist (kinda useful for new content). And and bit more EHP, IF you gear is great.

I started the league following this build. Unfortunatelly, I've been suffering a lot because of the low source of life leech as I couldn't manage to colour any of my pieces to match the WM + BV + CoH + PCoC setup. I decided to go the evasion way, so all my pieces have high dexterity requirements and getting BBRG is being really painful.

I decided to give a Blasphemy + WM setup a try and my survivability really went throught the roof. Problem is I lost the Clear Mind gem mana regen and spell damage. Even continuing using MoM and having mana reserved is not a huge problem, because the life leech is enough to sustain my HP pool and we don't really need that much mana now because of the satcks reduction.

Another thing, running Blasphemy + WM is so much quality of life, as you don't have to worry about getting stacks with the BV + CoH setup, which is slow as hell to cast.

What do you guys think about what I did? Am I losing too much damage from not having the Clear Mind spell dmg bonus? Does that make my build weak to face higher content? I've done T8's with no problem at lvl 82. My HP is 4.9k and here's my gear:

You're struggling with life leech cause you don't have a correct Vinktar setup. You have no lightning damage => No life/mana leech.
Either get the conversion Vinktar, or run a Phys->Lightning gem. You should be leeching life and mana instantly. (And by doing that, you can drop the mana potion)
Don't just mindlessly do something. The guide clearly said you need to have lightning damage for the Vinktar super leech to work.

Also, by dropping your second BV setup, you lose power chargers (5 for me + 20% spell damage you'd be getting from them)

Ok, thanks for the response, but what are the disadvantages of going CI over life based? I don't see any other than the advantage of having a life flask, but if you went CI instead of life flask you still get another great flask

They're executed in order they're socketed. So, you can influence it.

Ok, thanks. I'd assume top left gets executed first and bottom right last?

Thanks for the tips. I actually dropped IAoE for Phys-Light gem. About the second BV setup the struggle is real because of the colour of the sockets. Using evasion gear I spent more than 500 chromes alternating Vorici's crafting and RNG and couldn't get the BBRG. Going Blasphemy + WM for now is getting me through T9 maps so far. I'll keep trying to get the colours though.
from what do u even get life leech? i dont see any gem or skill with life leech i mean for vaal impact to work dont u need first some kinda of life leech?

I had a same question.

Edited: Ah, it is because you have that unique flask.

What if we don't have that unique flask. What should we do to get life leech?

Curse setup
4L: Blade vortex, Curse on hit, Warlord's mark, Power charge on critical
Sorry if something like this has already been asked before but I couldn't find a mention of it in the most recent pages of replies.

The guide says BV - Spell Echo - Added Fire - Controlled Destruction - Inc Aoe - Added Chaos for 6l.

Would it be a good idea to instead slot Inc Critical Strikes instead of Added Chaos? It drops my tooltip by about 800 but the utility of the extra crits could be worth it.
I have a question about Ruby flask, u, Bogok wrote in the guide that it gives you 83 on all three resistances? how? or is it a typo..?
