When did this community, which used to be one of the best, start to go toxic and ressemble the whole Blizzard community?

All internet-based communities get toxic once they get large enough.

The knee-jerk reaction to anything new is to say "I hate it!" regardless of what it is. Yet, without change, the game would get stale and die.

People love to hate. It's what the internet has become.
Theres a consistent theme with popular builds and items this league as there was last league.
Which is Reflect immunity which tells its own story.

Reflect basically dominates the whole game at the moment every aspect of most if not all builds are geared towards dealing with reflect.No other mechanic/threat even comes close.

Reflect is tieing our hands and completely stifling build diversity it needs to be changed.
Maybe have some 10% less reflect damage nodes on the tree or some such.

Really, I dont get it. I dont. why not buff these never used skills.

Cleave actuallz is somewhat popular, just not the very top of the list.
Also, after playing Ice Shot for the past 3 months, there is no reason to buff it at all. Its clear is crazy good.

Or just get rid of map reflect all together. Its not fun, its very annoying, and people hate it!

Agree 100%, get rid of map reflect then suddenly a lot more builds become not only viable but interesting too!
I can't believe people are asking for reflect nerfs, or to do away with it totally. If that was the case then why even play? Based on current skills, gear, etc, the entire game would be a face roll.

The stats shown are not surprising. It doesn't take the community long to figure out what skills work best for the current leagues.

This is the data GGG uses to nerf or buff skills to provide more skill diversity...which will never happen btw. People will continue to turn to the OP flavor of the day skill.

Agree 100%, get rid of map reflect then suddenly a lot more builds become not only viable but interesting too!


If there is any mod that needs to get removed ASAP, it is "players have bloodmagic", might as well replace it with "monsters reflect 15%-25% of chaos damage", just to make sure the Voltaxic-fraction also has a reason to reroll maps every now and then, because the REAL reason for Voltaxic being so popular is that they can handle practically any map mod, even BM being bearable, by which way they do mapping for relatively cheap and reap more rewards while doing so... Would also increase the popularity of trappers in all variances, while making "Detonate Dead" mainstream viable again(?) at the same time.

In short: Voltaxic owns any map-mod there is, which makes it OP. Chaos reflect should have been introduced with Ascendancy. Like it or lump it.

Can't really argue with that. Although, to have map mods in the game just to force you to re-roll the map seems pretty ridiculous, because that's all it does. Map reflect offers no challenge, it is only a currency sink. Map Reflect IMO is and will always be a lazy cheap mechanic that offers nothing to be desired.
