It's for the +20 INT (for stat requirements). If you have the stats you can always drop it and get some more damage/life.

Ah okay. Well I'm still using Atziri's Foible which is probably why I haven't needed to grab the extra intellect.
Just hitting level 70 so I really don't have the end game gear to use yet. I'm sure I'll need every int point I can get my hands on.

It'll be a bit of a respec but you should be able to swap to the other without too much trouble.

Updated for 2.3. Hardly anything changed. The tree still works and your Ascendancy nodes will not change (with the exception of taking Unstoppable with the 2 extra points from the Uber Lab). Swapped out Golems (Flame -> Lightning) to spend less time standing in place attacking. Swapped Flicker Strike for Shield Charge to travel through areas faster. Also updated current gear, skilltree, and planned skilltree at higher levels.

found the damage to be quite lacking on uber lab. i guess it's the limitation of discharge without voll's :(

I've still yet to test my own character vs Uber Izaro. I'm sure it will be doable, but this build isn't going to be a big time key runner on any day where the mods give Izaro elemental damage. He should be fine against pure physical damage output.

I'll test it sometime in the next few days and let you guys know how it goes.

I've been looking at running a mjolnir build for awhile but getting the currency for a Voll's amulet can be a pain unless your exclusively farming for it.

The build seems good so far, great trash/map clearing. One thing I've noticed is a lack of single target dps on larger bosses, Izaro etc.

I feel as though i maybe missing something here, as the endurance charge generation from the Jugg Ascendancy tree seems to be ideal for this? I realize that this is never going to be as good as a Voll's but it could be a decent alternative? you could also spec into extra endurance nodes in the tree.

Like I said, I've probably missed something here, thoughts?

So here's the thing about endurance charge generation with this build: there's not really any way to do it reliably enough to make it worthwhile against single targets. Sure, the Warlord's Mark generates some charges when clearing packs. The issue is that without Voll's we're not going to generate any endurance charges in those situations where it's just us against the boss.

A solution perhaps is to swap Ball Lightning in for single target, as it does more damage. When I was playing this build at the end of Perandus I also noticed 'difficulties' with single targets, and while it is an issue I'd like to address, endurance charge generation is not a solution.

EDIT: Just did a little testing. Using Ball Lightning over Arc substantially increases single target damage output. There seems to be an interaction with Romira's that generates extra power charges with it as well. Based off first impression I recommend this, could even use all the time in place of arc.

I took the max endurance charges/always full charge ascendancy instead. For generation i am using the warlock's mark curse on blasphemy and reckoning-vengence-stun support-endurance charge on stun.

tree wise i took more endurance charges that are near the tree and instead of heart of thunder i took celestial judgement.

it is able to consistently generate both power and max endurance charges, but damage is still low compared to voll's.

also the build plays like cast on crit and cast when damage taken since vengence/reckoning proc mjolnir very often. the con is that you are very unlikely to proc immortal call off your endurance charges. a good solution to this is to instead manual cast immortal call (you can get lvl 20 IM too)

i have not tested ball lightning with my version yet but if it increases single target dps it might be good.
