Windows 10 Memory Leak Fixed
Does this correct the issues of changing areas and never reaching the next area, essentially losing your progress? This happened to me just before the area leading to Izaro stage 3 over the weekend, I let it sit there for 10 minutes as I looked at the load screen while the music just kept playing. I have not yet been back to try again.
As always I am always impressed with the level of support GGG puts into POE to constantly improve things! There are only four rules you need to remember: Make the plan, Execute the plan, Expect the plan to go off the rails, Throw away the plan. Follow my lead and you’ll be fine.

Any chance your gonna fix the memory leak for Windows 7 soon?
Fresh start of POE ~around 2.5gb ram used. After few hours played. 3.4gb ram used. More hours..... computer crash. All my friends with win7 have same problem, its over 2.5gb ram usage. meanwhile... win10 users only use 1-1.5gb now. Best way to discover colors for your loot filter

" I don't think you are thinking about the correct type of Map. |

And I though it is just me. After the fix POE runs so smoothly, so much more enjoyable. I can't express how grateful I am for this fix.
I guess I'll just give you some money for this :D Last edited by nyash#2006 on Mar 23, 2016, 4:07:08 AM

this game needs some serious performance improvements. i know of no other game that ever ran out of memory so constantly. there must be some memory allocation and/or leak in your code base. if you do not already use it: static code analysis has helped me in the past.
on a side note: please make a vulkan renderer and bring the game over to linux. 64bit of course. Last edited by eNTi#5465 on Mar 23, 2016, 4:22:20 AM

YES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I knew there was something wrong, and in Global chat they would say "Its just your machine". Since the patch, I no longer get low memory warnings from Windows 10 (Dialog blames Pathofexile.exe), and some of the stutteryness has gone. Maybe I might be able to do Cruel Lab now even though I am level 70. |
