Some Ascendancy Statistics
With any new expansion, we are always very interested to see what has changed and what choices players have made. Ascendancy has a lot of new choices, and hence has lots of exciting stats. We hope you find them as interesting as we do.
Firstly, we are interested in what types of play our players are enjoying. These statistics are from the last seven days. Not including time in Hideouts and Town, the breakdown looks like this:

We'd expect the time spent in Maps to go up as the league goes on, and we imagine the time spent in the Labyrinth will also. We'll keep an eye on that!
If we look at high-end farming areas, we can get a picture of what players at the end game are doing. Again, these refer to the last seven days. The Perandus League has allowed The Solaris Temple Level 1 to make the grade as a farming zone:

Is it possible for the ascendancy class stats to be expressed as a percentage of people playing the base class? Or at least to drop those data on us so we can do it ourselves. Seems like an equally interesting metric.

I spent more than 50 hours now in Lunaris 1, i'm lvl 81 and yet, i have only 2 Sun cards...you guys need to do something about these card droprates :(
Divination cards are a cool addition to the game but it's completely butchered by their rarity. By the time i farmed 2 of these Sun cards, i've drop one phoenix shield and enough currency to buy around 1000 of them. The Sun is juts a single exemple from many other cards. Hmm, I'm liking my Slayer Earthquake build. Wonder why everyone else is going Champion instead. The Fortify gem gives +dmg on top of the Fortify so I felt it was a fair trade.

I wouldn't say it's a fair trade, because Fortify gives pretty terrible damage compared to an actual damage gem, but my argument is more that you don't need any more damage. I'm quickly clearly tier 12-14 maps with a 5L Marohi including Fortify. I will say, however, that the 18% movement speed that Champion grants you is probably more effective at increasing clear speed than Slayer's AoE. I just think the massive life leech buffs from Slayer add so much to your tankiness that they're worth it.
