2.2.1d Patch Notes

Great job GGG for the many fast fixes for issues that come up!
I just wanted to give my 2 cents and comment that after this patch, I am getting fps drops when earthquake goes off (have not tried other skills, but I presume something similar?). This was not happening before this patch was released.

Is any body experiencing similar issues?

Hello the game crashes on a regular basis on me.
Giving example when playing in act 2.
Moving into crossroads my PC would hang or anywhere else for the matter. I then get a couple of exception errors. The game also complains about can't connect to instances.

The bad one is did a Labyrinth run last night finished it but never got my two points for it. Was running in Cruel.
Still flicker strike (maybe with hatred ice ability but not sure) 'causing game crush issue. This time it happened once after playing hours. I guess it's rarely but still happens.
jesus christ another patch. it took an hour just to instal c for a few megs.
These tiny patches on one hand, are great because it shows everyone you're working on things, on the other hand... they stink especially with steam because of the way steam deals with patching.

First steam pre-allocates almost double of what the full install of the game takes up space-wise.

It then uses that space to find and replace. It takes forever, sometimes literally.

I just wish steam had a smarter way of doing things. It doesn't.

Oh I want to add it doesn't bother me, except for the fact that Steam gobbles up all the CPUs whenever it patches and I can't do anything else at all. Again, not GGG's issue.

HAHHAHA Again tiny bug fix patch.. Take forever install it.. And if no one dont remmeber those another patches..

Version 2.2.1c
Packs of monsters spawned by Perandus Chests can no longer have Bloodlines mods.
Fixed more cases of Perandus Chests not opening correctly.
Fixed an instance crash with Vaal Lightning Warp.
Fixed an instance crash with Essence Drain and Contagion.
Fixed a bug with Essence Drain spreading between enemies.
Fixed a bug where purchasing The Perandus Manor from Cadiro wouldn't give you credit for purchasing a unique map from Cadiro for the "Buy these Items" challenge.
Fixed a bug where daily missions for Catarina, Tora and Vorici could sometimes fail to open.

Version 2.2.1b
Improved Essence Drain spreading between enemies. Further fixes to this skill will follow on Monday.

Looks pretty similar to me..
I believe when i see it.. That GGG even try to fix this game :D

It's a good thing to see i'm not the only one who thinks all these small updates already should have been fixed as soon as this league started. GG, GGG, GG...

you have FPS lags really ? i have 100 to 300 FPS, this game is well optimized, maybe stop play on a toaster

Actually for the record I'm running a quad-core pavilion gaming laptop and a blackhawk x4 gaming router. Running plenty of ram there is no explanation that I can come up with for why this game would perform so poorly on my system. I will be running along just fine...sleep-walking through t9-10 maps, then my screen will freeze...I'll see some gold glowey mobs appear...frozen screen, then dead marauder. I'm doing 103k aoe dps...and leeching an insane amount if nothing else my leech alone should keep me up through it but no...I can lol down bosses, but these perandus mobs insta-freeze my system and that's usually all-she-wrote. I don't even want to THINK of how much xp I've lost to this. Also to point something that everyone seems to have missed from my original post...this is a RECENT problem. Yes perandus mobs have always caused lag, but only in the last 36-48 hours have they completely frozen my screen like they have been the past few days. I've been able to function just fine this league up until a patch done a few days ago...since then I crash 3-4 times during rotations, the game takes a LOT longer to load, takes WAY longer to change areas, and this total screen-freeze with perandus. Something that has been "fixed" recently has certainly not "fixed" things for some of us...it's made it worse.

I understand that due to the almost infinite customization options in this game that it poses some significant programming and coding challenges. It seems to me though that adding a few more options might help to drastically improve people's game performance. For example if users had the option to turn down particle effects it would allow people who DON'T have top-end graphics cards to function more smoothly. Additionally I have found that sound plays a SIGNIFICANT role in performance. If I run the game in --nosound mode for example I get about a 70% improvement in performance...but who wants to run a game with no sound at all? If you added options to turn off certain sounds however like party member effects or mob effects it could drastically improve performance. Being able to filter out party member graphic effects during group rotations could potentially eliminate a majority of the crashes...just some things to consider perhaps.

yea i just gave up days ago. as much as i WANT to play, especially since i really want to get some challenges done on the new league and get some of those effects, i can just no longer bring myself to wait an hour or more for such small patches. maybe they'll fix it quickly if enough of us just stop playing because of it.
>Fixed a bug where the third encounter of Izaro would sometimes not have Izaro
LOLed so hard xD
P.S. Thanks for fixing issues!
