Hey really enjoying this build so far just hit 65 and the varunastra/binos is working great. You seem to be saying that the deaths hand offhand is better though? If so should i drop the poison nodes from the tree?

If you use death's hand I'd recommend using WED/Added Fire, honestly the difference between deaths hand a binos seems pretty nominal so you can choose whatever feels better to you. Keep in mind WED adds more safety through increased freeze duration.
Thanks for the reply. I picked up a LC but only have a 5l so im finding deaths hand to be more satisfying for keeping up PC and just quick leveling dried lake may revisit once i have a 6l. Having a ton of fun with the build thanks again.

Which ascendancy notes do you use?
Hi, really nice build !

A few questions though : I don't really like Bino's, so i'm planning to go with death's hand. Should I drop the chaos nodes ?
Also, I get that you don't want the phase notable, but what about the three "3% chance to dodge" ? 9% free dodge seems a nice deal for 3 passive points.
Finally, why don't you take the claw nodes ? They are insanely good and allow you to run without mana leech since the notable gives 0.8%.

If you use DH drop fatal toxins and the poison gem for like WED/Added Fire

You really don't get hit often playing this build if you're doing it right, you can take the 3 dodge nodes if you want but to me they are wasted points.

The claw nodes are better than average only if you invest 8 points into the wheel. I didn't have 8 points to spare still taking VP. My other character playing a variation of this build used Acuity and was able to take the claw node.
Hey man. I'm thinking of dropping the Poison gem and Nodes and go for the Twin Terrors nodes and Concentrated effect gem. Any thoughts on that? I dont think the area of effect radius will interfere with the Concentrated effect gem. I am also thinking about going for a Crit dagger phys dmg as off-hand weapon with Varanustra. Will appreciate any respons!
PS: I'm on Hardcore. Do u think these changes will manage with reflect?

Hello! I've been following your guide (ish) so far and I quite enjoy it! Its really well written and well explained!

I was thinking one thing though:

Would it not be possible/good/better to use Soul Taker in offhand if we use Lightning Coil and then use the last mana for a blasphemy/warlords mark setup?
TL;DR below

I was trying to wrap my mind around using the Death's Hand over Bino's also, what about the last two ascendancy points? since we dont use any poison other than adders touch it seems somewhat wasted on the other choice, (40% crit multi and 100% crit chance vs enemies on full hp ) it seems pretty "Meh" but i suppose 40% more dps is ok, but since our crit is so damn high and its only for 1 hit i find it lacking. what mobs arent 10% hp after the first hit, if not dead anyways?

Having Death's Hand means we wouldnt need to use the poison gem and that spectral throw set up and we would have a few extra points on the passive tree but what could we even get with those 3 points other than a few hp passives, also all those dagger passives go to waste since we are using a mace weapon so they wouldnt double/triple dip.
I feel like my play style would make me go binos since the poison will have time to stack on the higher level bosses and all the trash dies in one hit no matter what i do if they are bunched up, maybe 2 hits if they are a gold mob walking around solo.

Is it just for convenience over pressing the spectral for the PC on crit and unholy might that Death's hand gives?

But like i said, my play style makes me feel Bino's would be slightly better for me since ill be farming the highest tier possible and i think the poison would make the bosses die faster also make use of the last two ascendancy points... or just stop at 4 points and call it a day lol.

***********TL;DR********** does the poison gem, nodes, and Bino proliferation + healing, when fighting a more drawn out tougher boss makes Bino better than Death's hand right in that situation? no dagger passive double/triple dip withouht Bino and no free healing from the proliferation... also if i take vaal pact is that healing nullified?

ignore my spelling, i lost my glasses a moment ago lol
@Terrorkoiz : what do you mean "double dip" about the sword nod ? Does it apply twice to Varunastra ? One for it sword type + one for the "all type weapon" mod ? If yes that's amazing !

no, i worded some of it wrong, i couldnt read what i was typing at the time lost my glasses lol

by double dip i meant when we get all the dagger nodes they apply to bino's dagger and the varunastra sword making it give use two increases to stats instead of just one to the bino dagger, but when we take the triple dip node "deadly dilettante" you get dmg, crit chance, and attack speed to dagger claw and swords which means varunastra gets 108% added phys dmg 75% crit chance and 24% more attack speed so it gets all 3 stats from that node. (i think i did that right)

but if varunastra gets the sword bonus two times that would be news to me and would be pretty powerful. as far as i can tell from my zero tests, no, it doesnt benefit twice from a sword node, hmm actually i didnt say sword in that whole previous post so i dont know if i answered you correctly :P
