{3.0} Necronomicon / Raise Spectre Monster Info...[The Unofficial Minion Wiki]

Hey. Been playing for a while now. Just came back to the game after about 3 years away. Lots has changed! One thing hasn't, though. My god does my build SUCK. I'm playing a "mob" summoner, level 80 (gained through SLOW, careful grinding) with as many freaking minions as I can possibly have, and most of my power going to them instead of me. I'm now having SERIOUS trouble, though. I cannot even beat the cruel labyrinth (Izaro turns me into hamburger every time). Forget anything really tough. I get into a map with those repeated damage mods? I'm out. I get one shotted a LOT by a lot of things. For the most part, I'm ok. I can handle absolutely massive groups of monsters, even powerful rares, but for bosses and monsters that can get to ME through my minions, I'm toast every single time. The problem mostly comes when I'm stuck in a small area and can't move around (like Daresso's area, as those little arenas are DEADLY to me on nightmare. My minions can't keep everything off of me). Can anyone help? How do you post up pictures of your skill tree and items on here? I can do that and see if anyone can help. If it helps, I'm using these.

Skullhead helmet.
Thunderfist gloves.
Midnight Bargain wand.
Matua Tapuna shield.
Bones of Ullr boots.
Sidhebreath amulet.
2 rare unset rings (set with my auras, discipline, and hatred)
Crap rare 6 linked chest piece.
Rare belt that gives me better faster flask usage.

All that crap gained through an unreal amount of grinding and trading.

I have 10 zombies, 4 specters, tons of skels on a totem, a golem (I use lightning most of the time), a VERY powerful Animated Guardian (I've yet to find anything that can scratch it, honestly, and if I die, he'll usually stay right in a bosses face and his health never goes down), and I myself use Raging Spirit to support. Vaal Skeletons for my nuke spell. When I'm just doing Lake runs, I usually use Reanimators for my specters, as they give me 12 extra zombies and other things to boot (and they benefit from Greater Multiple Projectiles, too!), but I'll get either tentacle miscreations or sentinels for when I'm trying to run a (low level) map or difficult areas. Again, my minions almost never die, it's me that's the problem. I don't even know what it's like to have an experience bar anymore.

You can make your profile public by clicking on your account name on the top of the website and posting your character profile as a link.

Straight off from your gear selection I can tell your just using a whole bunch of uniques which gives u practically no survivability. Pick either life(MoM + EB), hybrid, CI, or lowlife and stick with it. Hybrid is probably the easiest to get a large effective life pool for cheap. A good defensive rare is almost always better then a unique. Uniques are used to enable build defining attributes.

Make sure your resistances are capped, typically 75% for each resistances.
For hybrid builds try to aim for 9k+ combined life pool
CI builds aim for 7k es or higher
life builds aim for 5k life

Drop your midnight bargain unless you combine this with the low life combo (shavs chest piece). 30% reduction to your life pool is way too much of a trade off. U can pretty much drop everything but the bones of ullr in favor of a defensive rare or unique piece.

Has anyone tried the Cannibal Fire eaters for boss fights?
Would really like to know how that went! :)

Edit: I think that if you use desecrate in a map, you will get your spectres even if you didn't see them in the map at all, i've talked to some other people playing summoners and they said they could find the spectre they were using (wasn't sentinels) by desecrating.

I heard as long as it has a chance of spawning, you can eventually desecrate them.

If the spectre damage effectiveness is actually 120% and not the player skill version I think this setup will melt bosses

RS + poison + slower proj + mindmg + added chaos + elefocus

Just small info, you can also Desecrate Flame Sentinels and Evangelists from Museum (T9).

I was just leveling a summoner and goofing around with Avian Retches and noticed that they seem to run around less and eat and attack more. Does anyone know if they're projectiles overlap with multiple projectiles? Also how do they work with sire of shards?
So with the new essence gloves that gives +3 local crit, I've been wondering about a crit based Spectre (specifically cold). Since with that and a gem you get basically 10% base crit (and 100% increased crit), and powercharges are worth so much for them (gained with the shield), does anyone know the best option for a crit creature?

No they are still quite amazing. I just didn't get to them yet. I just updated a few spectre just now.

I actually got a question if anyone knows. Monster skill and player skills are completely different so this means their damage effectiveness for spells and attacks should be different? I am looking at flame sentinel's fireball and their listed damage modifier on poe db. It makes me wonder if their fireball damage modifier is actually 120% and not 100%. This could mean that spectre with a high damage modifier scales very well with stuff like added chaos damage and anger and similar things.

You can also desecrate slashed miscreations and undying incinerators and flamesentinels(very rare) in t2 factory. Been experimenting with stacking unending hunger jewels just for the AOE.

I think you can get to about 110% AOE which previously has never been possible before. You'll lose out on minion damage jewels(which are definitely better dmg wise) but its pretty fun seeing gigantic aoe's lol.
iAOE = 39%
dying sun + immortalis belt = 39%
4x unending hunger = 32%

I'll finally be able to update my build once I find some kind of op combo with huge amounts of area. So far undying incinerators stacking AOE and lots and lots of cast speed has been destroying maps. Slashed miscreations are not bad. Still looking for that elusive earthquake golem(no idea where he spawns) Still trying to afford a dying sun flask I been super unlucky this league and currency gains has been a struggle.

Yes, with enough area their projectiles will overlap and "shotgun" This is what I been working on this league for my summoner build. Trying to find a good spectre combination to go with 110% iAOE. Sire of shards will cause them to vomit projectiles in a nova around then.

I know that the default crit for mobs is 5%. But mobs with spells may be different. It might be the same as players skills? At this point it's just a guess since GGG releases no information about mob stats really. The discharge spectre might be a good option or the frostbolt seawitches.

np. This thread exists to answer anything summoner related since there is barely any info we need to test ourselves. Yeah and the tooltip is complete garbage so i think i will never know unless a GGG staff tells me.

Hi, this is a nice compilation of resources.
You can also add vitality to the minion healing section. Also I've found flame sentinels in the Colosseum. I really wish I could keep those permanently.
