[2.2] 100% chaos ICE TRAPPER - UBER down (T15 Abyss Double Boss fight in 10 sec!!)

Rolled this build and just beat a 6-mod Excavation (t13) map pretty easily with a 5L Carcass at level 80, gems are still at 18 (some with quality).

My damage is "low" I guess but saving up for the 6L carcass is going to take a while :(

So I decided to follow the double curse non crit version posted early on in the thread. This is one of the funnest builds I've ever played with the change cluster traps brought. Today I did Uber for the first time ever, 4 runs, got lucky with a glove drop. From watching OPs vid, I think if your goal is Uber, crit may be the way to go because of how quickly you can drop the bosses. Otherwise I think non crit double curse is probably better for mapping. More than enough damage and super defensive.
For those playing standard: what about going full crit with this? I mean this tree:

+ legacy Consuming Dark + Infernal Mantle + Rats Nest + Diamond Ring + Crit Multi amulet + Power charge from quest and quality increased crit strikes gem in place of Controlled Destruction. Now with gloves and shield slots still open you will achieve:

60% crit chance BEFORE Power charges, 74% crit chance with just 4 Power charges up,

429% crit multiplier.


Now u can grab Maligaros + defensive stats shield or defensive stats gloves + offensive stats shield (like spell crit chance + spell dmg) or go secound Dagger with global crit chance, crit multi, spell crit chance, flat + fire / cold to spells and defensive stats gloves (boots remains Atziri's Step).


For example with something like this:


You will end up having 81% crit chance 466% crit multi (with traps that have base crit chance of 5% lol). Adding something like Facebrakers will boost up crit multi to the 556%.

81% cc 556% cd, 670% dmg increase + 3 dmg multipliers with overlapping poison dmg on top of that. I wonder if someone will be able to instagib uber Atziri this way :)

What you defences look like ?
I'm not speced into this right now, just posting idea. But you should end up with 3,8k life + 500ish es if u run Infernal Mantle. U can also drop Infernal Mantle as 75% chaos conversion from legacy Consuming Dark is enough (im running it this way now). And than run Carcass Jack + spell dmg + spell crit ES shield with some defensive stats. This way more life, like 4,1k and around 500 ish es. In both scenarios there's:

~30% / 40% / 46% (eva / dodge / spell dodge)
+ temporal chains via blasphemy

Those together are solid. Temporal chains should be 20/20 with enchance added if possible. This way everything that comes closer will be slowed as hell (including bosses). And this trapper is basically range character.

I would add HoI and Clarity on top of that for some dmg boost and quality of life.

That said this is just and idea for a discussion. I'm currently running & testing original build with some minor tweaks (legacy Consuming Dark, Rats Nest, RathPith Globe, Anger + TC + Clarity).

Can someone post a tree 90lvl for non crit version?
Hello y'all.

I'm in the process of buying gems and coloring stuff so I need some advice.

So: Is it a reasonable idea to run 2 2links, one with HoI + Enlighten and the other with Blasphemy + TempChains or Enfeeble?
And drop Anger altogether?
Because this build really doesn't need more damage I feel.

Adding to this: Enfeeble or TempChains? I can't decided what is better because I have no experience with Enfeeble, this build and high level play.

If you dont mind dropping Carcass Jack (i dont no need for more dps if you subtract Uber) - use Geofri's_Sanctuary. ( if you dont mind losing 3 points - Carcass is still ok)

Rest is self explanatory. Also dropped Void Manipulation and replaced it with Increased AOE/Concentrated Effect ( i know poison doesnt scale with it, but 20% more initial hit makes up for it)

I can reserve all mana so running Enfeeble also helps.
