Sorry, not good enough.

Hello Good day to all.

Just want to ask about the Abyssus Helm. Cause i actually have 2pcs 150/40 (1st high roll) (2nd mid roll).
As far as i know few (ACTIVE) players have it including me.

my question is what happen now to my 150/40? Are they aware of it? Or i just missread something?

I hope they will do something about it.
Before ACTIVE players deactivated.

God Bless all

Thanks (:

I don't need to run lab even once, but the side effect is my character is now a gimped POS.

If you make a build that is completely dependent on ascendancy to be good, it's already a POS and ascendancy probably won't help it very much.

People have been making builds and playing the endgame long before this feature came out. Treat ascendancy as an option for more power, but not something you need in order to reach and play the endgame.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

MFers found strength in their Afflictions. They became reliant on them. I am not so foolish.

The whole opening post is flawed to the point I question why anyone wasted time trying to discuss anything with the OP.
Havent played many RPGS huh ?

Sometimes you just have to wonder why people like this even play RPGs to begin with, same goes for all those people complaining that the game is "too hard" and "getting loot" is too hard.

Its the entire purpose of the genre itself and yet you play it just to complain about it.
Harvest sucks! But look at my decked out gear two weeks in!

Labyrinth salt farm miner.

"But my build diversity" , "Game is too hard!" - Meta drone playing the same 1-3 builds for years.
+1

Honestly, Vaalamity, I don't know why you're still here posting. The steam chart numbers tell a story, and that story is that the lab isn't hurting PoE's numbers much, if at all. Or maybe it's just that the new players truly do see the lab as optional content (which I don't get because it seems pretty necessary to me, too).

I've been playing devilian for a few days now, and skyrim (my old vice), and guess what? Devilian has a lot of what we played PoE for. Admittedly, character appearance customization rather sucks (but in PoE it's nonexistent), and there isn't much of a crafting system (yet), but at least it's a consistent game, with consistent game-play.

They don't know what hiding is... they don't know what dodging is... they are morons.

So we only need to do Labyrinth once in Merciless if the character is already in merciless for Ascension? Is that the only change? That's a small concession, not even close to good enough for me. I won't back down and demand better, and want you, fellow exiles, to do the same. Here are the reasons why I won't compromise:

This is the whiniest post I've seen in a long time. With a halfway decent character, the labyrinth takes about 15 minutes (less if you don't bother stopping to fight every pack, disregard the silver keys/doors, or if you already know the day's layout), and I've generally found Izaro to be trivially easy. Most of the traps can be avoided, teleported past, out-regenerated, or potted through without breaking stride. It is seriously easy content so long as you're paying even the slightest attention.

And if you can't do it right when it becomes available, you can always level up a bit more and run it later. It may be required for maxing your character, but it's NOT a roadblock that will keep you from progressing. You can do it any time.

Grinding for the right helm enchant might be tedious, but those really are completely optional, and quite minor improvements. The same can be said for just about every incremental gear upgrade which might require countless hours of farming. This is very much in the spirit of the existing game.

Starting to understand this is dividing players into two camps:

There are those who think this is f'd up patch, and for a reason...

Then are those who would love anything, if it's put under name "PoE", even it was a zone that requires to run it with a joystick up the a-hole as the only possible way to control char...

And the second group also fails totally to understand, some people has played PoE for what it WAS, not for what it has NOT been. Many just wish to rebuild chars with new content, and get on with "the usual PoE stuff" and not rush leagues and races and such... some play just for fun, but for many such persons, fun is now killed. Since now "fun" would include something they hate. The labyrinth, that is.

Takes only 10 mins... right. So my 14 chars and all future ones can get those points if I use only 10 mins? Really doubt this tbh, I really think takes more than some 43 seconds per run... And to build every char for the lab first, then respec for the build I'll use later... not really too inviting idea.

Labyrinth optional? Some still repeat this? I do see some people repeating this word in many posts, so maybe just for some it's impossible to understand this... but one more try won't hurt I guess :) So here goes: even if playing in a more casual way, knowing char will suck compared to what it could and should be, just makes whole gameplay pointless for this type of game. Those 6 points too strong to just ignore. So equally optional as completing normal or cruel, really, for many.

I honestly do think the labyrinth itself doesn't suck... just many hate such type of gameplay. And to force people to swallow such, is the thing that really really sucks. Was bad idea. Removing points from lab would not hurt anyone, people can still run lab if liking it and wish to do it for enchantments.

And even the fanboys that now oppose this without any good arguments would approve the change 100% brainlessly like everything else, the very second it's added by GGG, so no possible harm done here I think. Would be win-win.

The BIG mistake that all you guys who don't like the Ascendancy points being tied behind the Labyrinth like me are making is simply this:

You are arguing with those people on the Feedback Forum who like the whole setup as it now is.

This is the Feedback Forum for GGG, it is *not* a discussion forum for the poe trolls and sh!t stirrers to come into your thread and try to make you look wrong, stupid or bad!

Ignore them.

Remember who you are trying to address with your complaints and suggestions here.

You are not here on the Feedback Forum to argue or discuss or get involved in their blathering.

Just state your case clearly to GGG and let the naysayers stew in their own juice.

Don't feed these trolls!

Remember....this is the Feedback Forum for GGG.

Got it? The Feedback Forum for GGG!
