Traps scaling based on EHP is broken

It's the only thing in the game you can't beat with getting more life. Beside that stupid bonespire mechanic anyway.

exactly what I think if it was raw physical dmg, armor build would walk in tanking all the trap while the evasion would get one shot all day.

The traps hit hard but it's a fair mechanic that will never one shot you, it feel like old school platforming game where you had to be careful how you move and where you land. This is a fun mechanic that is based on player's skill not on character's level, which is nice and feel even more rewarding.
This complaint isnt about the traps doing damage based on EHP, its that the scaling is broken for ES.

There is nothing wrong with the mechanic itself, and if you carefully read my suggestion, you would see that I'm not complaining about the mechanic itself.
Life is easier yes, ive done 50+ runs, and I just carry insta flask and heal through the traps...took my low life char through and had to carefully navigate through them, even with high es regen you get trapped on spikes your screwed, whereas with life you just use a flask...so I get the argument here! Apparently most people posting don't! lol

I'm running a lowlife with 10.5k ES as my primary build, this is the exact case I've been having.
It has been frustrating at best when dying to a single misstep when party members simply walk through every single trap and wonder why I died to one mistake.
