why do you use elemental overload when you use a crit ice trapper?

I don't use crit. I only crit with orb of storms to activate overload. If i wanted to go crit then i would use other points in tree. There are many critpoints for trapper. I go for life, non base crit.

Here's the final gear i ended on with this build, got pretty expensive to get the dual curses to work but.. cleared pretty much everything(Uber, core malachai etc):
Could get some more damage from the rings/staff etc but not that much. Also had to drop herald of ice in favor of 2 curses. 14596 icetrap tooltip without HoI 5350 life 5000 evasion 125 mana reg/s |

" It would be really hard to cap my resists with only a few rares and lightning coil, you kinda need atleast 2 30+ resists on gloves for my setup to reach the cap(unless you got godly gear). Would work if you went with carcass jack or rare chest though. |

I'm playing this build in softcore and it works very well for solo map farming. Clearing maps in full rarity gear works great.
I tried Atziri once. It was a lot easier than expected. " But that's cold damage for attacks, not for spells. This wouldn't work for traps at all unless I'm missing something. |
