Actually the server is crashing because there are a lot of server crashing bugs, that's why there have been several patches tonight. Read the patch notes. They fixed a few, obviously not all of them.

And frankly Ascendancy is just a rip off way of getting you a small bad taste of hardcore... unless of course you like that sort of sadistic game play.

Open Beta and the CDN failure of August 2013 (which resulted in download speeds of 1-2kb for a 4gb patch, forcing GGG to release a torrent a day later) were both utter disasters compared to this.

it is with deep sadness that I write my deep distaste for the new content. The labarynth is giant pile of poop. i spent 45 minutes and only got half way. it is extremly boring and more of what the stuff that makes this game boring and uninteresting. Looong boring areas that you have to double back from constantly. its like you guys added act five but there is no ledge or docks in the middle to keep the game fun and interesting. soo much crap. I am extremly dissappointed and now i have a headache. The labarynth is absolutly awfull and something needs to be done about this!!! and dont even get me started on the instability of the servers today... thumps waaay down GGG! needless to say i will likely quit playing POE again because I was hoping for something fresh and lively but instead poisonous arrows are coming from stationariory guns that make you slow af like if im walking through tar or have temporal chains curse on my character. what an awfull way to 'expand' the game. the lord's labarynth is the final word in CIRCLE JERKS! >:(

It's okay tbh. Yeah there has been some downtime but it really isn't that bad. Frustrating yeah. To be expected? Yeah. A huge problem? nah.

Just wait until you spend an hour fully exploring Labyrinth thinking you are missing something until you realize terrain generated badly and blocked where you needed to go. The trials and Labyrinth were already pretty lame in my eyes but dealing with this is infuriating. Guess ill try for ascended class tommorrow.

Yeah, it's a bit embarrassing. Kudos to the reddit community to keeping their shit together though. We may never see eye to eye, but I'm glad they're working through it.
