In that particular unique map "Whakawairua Tuahu" scales IIQ and IIR based on how much light radius you have, so I am wearing these:


Each Lori's Lantern gives 31% IIQ and 62% IIR in that map - each point of light radius is worth 1% IIQ and 2% IIR.

Man this league just keeps getting better - yesterday has to be one of the most lucky days in PoE so far. I bought a 6L Greed's Embrace because my scour/chance attempts on a 6L golden plate weren't yielding and results, managed to get 5 off colours on it under 400 chroms, and then a few hours later a random chance / scour and the golden plate turned into a Greed's Embrace.

So now that I had two 6L's I decided to go for the optimal colours 4BGR and without a doubt I hit it within under 100 chromatics:



To top it all off a Voltaxic Rift dropped in The Apex of Sacrifice while I was helping a guild member get the kills for the challenge and in under 10 fusings it 6L'd:



And then - a chest I got from farming The Dapper Prodigy in Residence - was being annoying and chaos spamming was netting no results so I decided to alt + regal it, on the 5th regal attempt this happened (I'll be making an Aegis character to use it):



Now today rolls around and I decide to try and roll Perandus' on an ilvl 84 Golden Amulet so I buy one for 2c and get going, couple hundred alts in and I get it without a suffix, augment Excavation and then regal T1 Fire Resistance! With a bit of encouragement from the guild I blocked the suffix and exalted hoping for high life, ES or WeD but instead just hit 11% armour, all worth it though!

Shav's is cheap in Perandus because of Cadiro and in standard because of the increased drop rate and slightly lower demand.

How would you change this build(if at all) if you were to play it in Standard? My SWT MFer is getting a little boring and Blade Vortex looks really fun. I'd probably be using a Carcass Jack since I have several 5L ones laying around and I'd also be using the IIQ gem so BV would essentially be a 3-link.

Any changes, recommendations or tips?

I would probably avoid using Carcass Jack, the extra gore from it can be annoying and laggy with the amount of hits blade vortex does, especially in big packs. Using a Tabula would be better, just swap out added fire for Item Quantity and it will be fine DPS wise, you lose about 30% base damage but that should still be able to do T6-8 maps, maybe even higher.

If you did go with Carcass Jack and wanted more DPS you should have enough AoE to be able to drop the Increase AoE gem and use a DPS gem instead.

General advice would be to level up until 85 or so before swapping to MF gear completely, having life on gear so that you are above 4k HP will help make the levelling process smoother, once you have 4k HP in MF gear then you can swap over to Goldwym and Perandus Blazon.

I did my first Perandus Manor map to see if it's worth MFing at it's current price. I was unable to record all of it, but I got the majority - for some reason my recording software was dropping me to 1 fps after a few minutes.

The 200-300% more rare monsters was noticeable but not amazing, the map had fairly low mob density so running a Plateau with 30% more rare monsters would probably have the same amount.

Really loving this build. I had gotten stuck with my Shadow before the patch came so I used my free full respec to try this out. I cannot believe how tanky it feels with Blasphemy + Warlord's Mark. Just wanted to drop by and say thanks for sharing!
