There was a guy who did the build in HC and got to level 92 with it, he used Mind Over Matter and cast Hatred in the Essence Worm ring (http://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Essence_Worm) so that Blasphemy + Warlord's Mark only reserved about 50% of his mana and he could use the mana and mana leech as a defence. He did also use a bit of hybrid gear, so life and ES mixed - I think he had 5.5k+ life and 2k ES or something along those lines. I can't remember exactly what his tree was like though and he respec'd it to test builds so I can't find it!

He may have picked up the Melding life and ES wheel, but I don't know - this is as close as I can think of:

I personally would struggle, but with careful play and preparation you'd be alright. My first death on this character was to Molten Shell in maps, I didn't see the goatmen and didn't have any spell block yet. Rumi's Concoction and some form of spell block converting item like Stone of Lazhwar, Rathpith or Sentari's, Saffell's is okay, but it removes attack block.

Hey man im lvl 68 with 5L carcass and i was wondering why do i need to use poison gem when i already have it with my ascendy points? i think i rather use something else in the poison gem?

Blade Vortex won't apply poison on it's own, you would have to use something like whirling blades or shield charge to get the targets bleeding (30% chance) before Blade Vortex would have 40% chance to poison.

Whereas if you use the poison gem you get 100% chance to poison, that's 60% more poison damage and it doesn't require hitting with a melee attack. The quality of life you get from poison is huge, much better than added fire or crit multi.

Wait what...i thought my BV does aplly poison if i have toxic delivery...DERP...but why it doesnt apply? it says on attack i aplly poison so for 5L il go something like

bv-spell echo-faster casting-added fire-poison? becuz i have divinarius and carcass and 6nodes in aoe so i dont need increased aoe
