2.6 Renewed Leary's Auramancer (Spectre, AW etc)(Great flexibility, Shaper farming!)

Im starting to level with this guide , there is so many cool spectres i dont even know what to choose xD.
I even thought about doing 6l zombies with bloodlust and 4l knitted horrors but i have the feeling it would be terrible >: (.
loving this build so far, never played a summoner before. it's a big change to the usual skill builds. only problem i'm having so far is survive-ability. i seem to die almost instantly before i get a chance to do anything, or i get really low and struggle to regen shield without vaal pact.

regarding leveling i tried dual totem and firestorm but both seemed inferior to the matua tupna zombie/multi/splash setup with spell totem srs/multi/splash/added fire/melee dmg i tried. the zombies were destroying everything and the totem could sustain 13 minions which helped a lot on breeches and bosses

Hmm. Survivability is definetly something that will come with more experience to summoners id say. Compared to vaal pact leech builds you'll really have to let minions do the work and try to kite around as much as possible. Your gear/tree seems solid enough, so Id say its between not yet being at powerful temp chains and a matter of getting the hang of it. You'd be amazed btw what an enhanced temp chains does. Can say Id rather not run %less curse/hexproof maps if they have too much dmg mods, now im almost 97 and trying to push lvls.

About leveling, hmm. I never actually tried matua tupna. thats actually not a bad idea for early minion gem lvls (zombies do really benefit from that)

ye, it's definitely practice. was struggling on t6 at the start but i'm doing t12s with ease at the moment.

i switched to 20q curses with enhance but the mana multiplier left me only 7, which isn't enough to cast shield charge or convocation. i guess i need more intelligence on gear to get to 9 to be able to cast both?

last question, is there any tips to crafting a helm with the essence? you just buy a ton of them and hope for a good roll or is there a better approach?

Ye Intelligence and levels mainly, or the mana nodes towards jewels (the one near CI and the one near scion). Ehm, u generally buy a hubris with the right enchant, ilvl 84, then spam shrieking essence of loathing till you get a decent roll that you can craft up to 300+ ES (look for high flat es/hybrid% mainly). It should take about 10-20 tries maybe to hit something that can go 300+

Think the golem version can do shaper? Same setup except flame golem 6L + golem jewels a few less spectre nodes?

I doubt it. I dont even think the golem version is worth it for the amount of money. Its really only in there for the sake of mentioning the option. It was way overhyped tbh

^^ i really wish they had made the golem jewels perhaps a bit weaker and with genric minion damage/health. Golem hybrid/spectre is a lot of fun just feels like the jewels and tree are going in 2 different directions.
As a completely poor player, new to the game...
What should I get first? Weapon or Chest? I'm currently using the Severed in Sleep and a Tabula for the 6 link.
And if my goal in my first league is to kill end game bosses, should I get my Shav with 4B1G1R as your Sahper setup build and get used to play with Evangelists? I really like the clearing of Sentinels but if it's better to play with Evangelists I will adapt.

Hii, Id recommend shavronne's. Severed in sleep is good enough to kill shaper imo, the biggest deal is the poison, not so much the envy aura. See united in dreams really as an optional endgame poweroption.

I would not recommend coloring for evangelists/slashed miscreations, just stick with flame sentinels. If you want to do endgame content, you can do most of that with flame sentinels anyways outside of Shaper (uber atziri, guardians are all doable with flame sentinels). If you learn how to win with flame sentinels, switching over to evangelists/slashed will only be so much easier and really make sure you can kill shaper when your time is right.
