premium stash tabs for trading

Hello GGG, first of all I would like to say I apreciate adding these new functions and I don't have amy problem with that but as I see many people do.... maybe you could consider giving upgrade from normal to premium stash tab as some reward for example for challenges next league so people stop hating :)

I was going to make a separate post, but mines along the same lines so i'll bump this one.

My suggestion was that with the new trading proposal, every account gets the first tab as premium and the other two (you get 3 on a new account right?) as standard tabs.

That has two benefits, anyone can make use of the new trade functionality (byebye P2W comments) and its like a "free sample" to encourage buying more tabs :)

Or just make a bloody Mailbox system which was suggested on Reddit, which seemed to actually fix Trading, once and for all?
I say we boycot this shit system they're giving us, stop fucking up the F2P players.

I would like to mention that the use of the public stash tab system is entirely optional. We are not preventing the use of any of the old tools, and they will continue to work so long as the third-party websites continue to index the trade forums.

Of course the other tools are still usable, but what vibe does it give off to some new player if he asks "So are there any convenient ways sell my items in the game?" and the answers is "Yeah, but you've got to pay for it."

That's going to throw off quite some people I'd guess (Because honsetly, that sounds pretty p2w)

And imo saying "But you can use 3rd party tools to fix it" doesn't sound much better (just remember some reactions to itemfilters (and those weren't even 3rd party just out of the game).

Saying "Oh yeah, you can list your items in one of your 4 tabs (going down the 3 normal 1 premium route) and you can expand your trade volume by buying more tabs"

So I'm not against restricting it to premium tabs, but imho it will throw off potential players.

And just to clarify, I'm not in it for free tabs (already have only premium tabs)

Yes, if you want to be at a competitive disadvantage, you can still use the old system - at least as long as it is supported. This really just should either work for all stash tabs or the first four stash tabs should be premium (or at least two of them).

And no, I personally am not hit by this, I have 15 premium stash tabs or something like that.

But how is that any different than just having more stash tabs? People made the same argument about stash tabs themselves being p2w which GGG defends by saying there is another way to get more storage for free - unlimited free accounts with 24 characters and 4 stash tabs are available to everybody. This is the same thing. There is a free alternative.

Honestly, the better the trade system, the more it just reveals the intrinsic flaws of the "everything can be traded" concept. The bad trade system is necessary because the concept of "you can trade everything" is just not a very good concept to start with.

So we need a shitty trade system to hide that trading produces problems. That is why GGG will not give us a good trade system.
