That's certainly a neat synergy to notice, but like you mention it would probably be difficult in actual use.

It's only a 10% chance, so you would either need to spam it into massive groups for it to work, or you would have to kite as you continually hit a single target to generate charges while you do zero damage.

Would be interesting to find a build that this works with though!

Oh I agree with you there, I was just trying to prove that its not ALWAYS a noob trap - just most of the time...lol.

It isn't always a noob trap, yeah, but that is for people who take their time and really look at how they can use the Scion Ascendancy. Since from how I see it, many options are just simply inferior to using non-Scion alternative. Coupled that with the fact that you can't even get the first Ascendancy in normal, which will make your run much harder when they increase difficulty to compensate for the Ascendancy power up.

There will probably be some build that Scion might be better at, but we will have to see.

For newbies and inexperienced players though, picking Scion will be the death of them.
