[2.2] King's "Jupiter Ascendant" - 4 curse hybrid/CI non-crit Occultist Witch [HC&Beginner friendly]
" I wouldn't use Elemental focus because you loose shock which makes you deal 50% more damage. I'd rather use innervate or added lightning gem. |
|
With the crit nerf to Orb of Storms (nerfed to 5%), I'm assuming you would hold off on Elemental Overload until you get the Ungill's now?
|
|
" You could spec into a few crit nodes until you get Ungil's, or play with dagger with implicit crit. It should be enough :) |

Thanks for the answer earlier ;)
I will see how the build develops. If I don't forget it, I will give some feedback while lvling through the HC league - but it should be quite smooth. Last edited by Mithrandil#3778 on Mar 3, 2016, 6:17:25 PM

" Thanks for the answers! I was either running this or ED - Contagion, but seeing as I'll almost always be in a party, I think your build would be best. Not playing hardcore though so I will be putting a bit more into damage :) |

i have 3 questions
1. what do you think about getting wrath? is the build is playable with 35+50% (discipline+wrath) mana reserved? 2. is discipline + mind over matter possible? I think it's a great idea but maybe you considered it and it's not. 3. is there a reason about you picking exactly temporal chains + conductivity with orb of storms and herald of thunder with enfeeble+warlord's mark? are they interchangeable? many thanks for the build Last edited by uit#7149 on Mar 3, 2016, 10:16:37 PM

" I wouldn't choose Wrath because Herald of Thunder will auto curse on hit for you. You could self curse or add another curse on hit spell like ball Lightning.. I believe that with 180% life and 200% es you dont really need mom, you'll just have mana problems :) this build should be tanky enough without You can change Curses however you like. I just Feel this is the safest option for HC |
|
" Lol, I'm stupid, I ignored herald of thunder reserved mana so saw the Wrath possibility. Nvm. Discipline+HoT(+AA) seems perfect for this hybrid hp/es build, you're right. So that removes the possibility for MoM. Some people have been saying crit arc is better, but I think having hybrid HP/ES + elemental overload is superior to hp+crit tree. Thanks, I'm so hyped to test this :D | |
for the CI variant , the mechanic is the same ? , same curses , different game play , something to considers ?
a lvling process ? |
