Have 3 exalts sitting around. Running on a 5 link +2, and a "decent" chest. Would it be worth it to use those 3 exalts for a lightning brigandine?

Lightning Coil will significantly boost your defences, while a 6l will boost your offence.
Depends on what you want!
edit: getting a lightning coil will definitely be worth it!

Just got myself that sweet LC for 3 ex, really heps:) What nodes do you take last by the way? Can't decide between Atrophy, jewels or the frenzy charges. So far i've gone for frenzy first. (at level 83 now).

I get Frenzy Charges first usually. Then some jewel sockets. Then ranger start. Ranger start is usually last.
