yeah and on top of that we have elemental overload. EA has 1 shotting potential now

too bad the tree doesn't load anymore
anyway i'm curious: how you do now against the new lightning arrow deadeyes or blast rain inquisitors?
i watched the video with you against lapiz and you were very tanky against his barrage, which patch was that? vs LA deadeye or BR inquisitor i die in 1 or 2 hits max, it wouldn't look like that at all but you were able to take a lot of hits and it looked like a fair matchup
i have about 8500 hp you had 11k+ but even with 11k then i'd be dying in 2 hits, not a huge difference to be honest (with anti crit nodes + that belt)
also what do you think about the new marauder for EA?

it's 500% now with 10 jewels, with rares you could still get like 400%+ anyway right? if you sacrificed the life mod for more damage, that's not a huge difference

he is using deceiver belt (%30) + 20% crit damage reduction from tree
total 50% damage reduction. it's like 100% more life affect.
cwdt + flame dash is another utility combo which is a must use. with cwdt flame dash, you can avoid from secondary damage of LA or EA. that's another trick which makes you almost 2 times more endurant

Crit reduction from belt and passive node are not equal to straight damage reduction. You are only reducing the critical extra damage, which means the critmulti, above 100%. The actual reduction is depending on the opponent's critical strike multiplier. If the opponent has 200% critmulti, and you use belt + passive node, so 50% crit reduction total, you half the critmulti over 100%, so the resulting critmulti is 150%. If the opponent has 500% critmulti, the reduced critmulti is 300%.
Assuming for the simplicity of the calculation, that the opponent has 100% crit chance, you reduce his dps by 25% in the first case, and by 33% in the second case. Players don't have 100% crit chance most of the time, so the reduction effect is even lower in practice. On top of this, the PvP reduction formula causes this reduction to be even smaller.
With an example of the opponent having 10000-10000 X-Y damage, 1 sec attack time, 100% crit chance, 500% critmulti, and ignoring resistances, he deals 5749.23 average dps without critreduction, and 4275.01 dps if you have 50% crit reduction, so you reduce his dps by ~25.6%, based on my calculator.

Thank you great Markusz, I've been saying this shit doesn't hard counter crit builds. Your calculations cement that fact. In real world examples you're receiving on average 700-800 damage less from my experience against the strongest crit users in the scene. With that said, it has its value and is worth taking if you're within that area. Though in a sense a really good rare belt + better utilizing the passives to obtain the 20% crit reduction node for most classes is better. You can make up that few 100 life and gain other supporting defensive/offense stats. The hands down best core defensive PvP options are 1. Block and 2. Acrobatics/Phase Acrobatics.

Block and dodge are indeed one of the best options for defense, as the pvp reduction formula does not effect it, but especially for you, crit reduction is also one of the best, as you have no block, so you don't get the downside from the belt.
