And yes, Ziggy makes great videos. There's a reason GGG wanted him on-board. That's not the point. It never was.

It being niche is WHY it's even better for them to do such a thing. Like I said, bolstering the community is for the greater good of the game. The world has changed, it's not about the whole "official" videos and previews anymore, even fortune500 companies are using social media (with joking) for advertising/promotion. Nothing wrong with GGG doing the same.

Many games (including zero p2w mmorpgs and such) use such a method, like sponsored streamers, etc.


It's not about GGG "not growing up," it's exactly where it needs to be. And in this case, "growing up" would actually be "going backward." And I for one don't want to see that. GGG is perfect the way it is, and I for one don't want to see them ever "growing up," because that's the day I'll likely quit.

Gotta say, those folk wisdoms are really telling. The reason those two are popular is nobody really follows them, procrastination and cutting corners is the name of the game.
