I don't think it's too big of a deal, Maligaro's was already extremely strong and definitely still BIS for any crit build. However, if you can't cap out your resistances with Lightning coil, then I suggest dropping Maligaro's for rare gloves with attack speed.

I would probably just path from the ranger to the duelist area, then move onto the shadow crit area. I've just made a levelling guide.
