[2.4] CI CoC Discharge by Rico (barely reanimated)

This is my first time to play coc discharge, so I'm very new to concept. I converted a srs character to this build but can you help to optimize it?

Gear looks good. What I would change is swaping aura setups with each other. Currenty your lvl 20 puritys gains nothing from empower and passive tree. They must be @ lvl 21 before empowering and lvl 23 after. The Vertex will rise them up.

Next is fire dmg on your dagger. It messes up a bit with your Elemental Equilibrium chain. You're doing a bit less dmg than you can. Try to buy / craft vagan dagger without any elemental dmg or only with cold. Its not something very important right now but a thing to consider in the future.

Now the passive tree. If u have 2 points left: grab Influence for additional 20% aura effectiveness for a total of 36%. This way your lvl 23% puritys will provide 5% * 1.36 = 6.8 = 6% (its rounded down in the game). Currently they provide @ lvl 22: 4% * 1.16 (your current aura effect increase) = 4.64 = 4% (you're gaining nothing). Aura effectiveness will also boost up your Discipline and thus your ES.

Next step is to grab jevel socket near Vaal Pakt. Next step is to grab another 6% aura effectiveness for a tota of 42% increase, meaning your lvl 23 puritys will provide: 5% * 1.42 = 7.1% = 7% to max resistances.

You have around 58% crit chance with your dagger before power charges which is good but you have lowish attack speed. Grab that jevel socket near Vaal Pakt and place a decent attack speed jevel in it. Like 8% attack speed with dagger + 5% overall attack speed for a total boost of +13%. This should put you @ 3 aps with your cyclone which is a number you should aim for (currently you have around 2.75 aps with Maligaros).

Use Maligaros not Facebrakers. In your current setup they're better.

Also for mana issues you need at least one jevel with +2 mana gained on hit.

Its not really that needed. It generates additional blade spin whenever you get hit. If you have better idea or want to drop it - go for it.

why lvl low lvl blade vortex and cyclone?

Was anserwed like 10 times allready: you gain nothing and stats requirements rise (dex).

Build is pretty much valid in 2.3 as there was no expected nerf to anything related to it. So enyoi it :)



BUT... If you want something else and have a spare Marauder you can try: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1606509/page/1 as 2.3 is a whole new era for Mjolner :)

that one looks too expensive for a new league, but i am liking this ci coc discharge.

question though. would you use shield charge in this build, then swap to cyclone for the boss if its hard?

Personally Im to lazy for that but you might try it. Should work.

Oops.

Why not take all 3 power charges nodes? And why do you want those purities so badly? I think Curses/blasphemy could be better. assasins + warlords cwdt curse + herald of ice + discipline should be OK. vs bosses use purities
