Skyforth are used for antistun mechanic. I don't have em so I rolled a more defensive variant with Rumi and block, still oneshots most stuff but can facetank pretty much anything in t12-t13 range, haven't gone higher yet no luck with drops.


Pretty sure if arn't going block route any high es double\triple res boots will do. or even rainbowstrides as a basic starter item.

There is no difference between 1 mil dps and 300k, u still oneshot stuff. But with 300k u don't die to some random stuff like lag or careless play cause u got about 65\65 block.

Guess I'm still getting Skyforth since they just seem too good with all the insane things happening on them.

I'm rolling a shadow now and once I get to Ascendancy I'm wondering where to put my last 2 points - I feel like up to Assassinate is a no-brainer, a free culling strike paired with that beyond insane crit chance / multiply is just derp. What I'm wondering is whether the unstable infusion is any good seeing as I'll be running around with silly amounts of crit ? Or should I just get some Chaos dmg from Toxic Delivery on top of some more crit ? I doubt Blade Vortex counts as a DoT ?

i chanced the skyforth some days ago and followed your build, first as a witch, and now as a scion.
You recommend the assassin ascendancy for the scion after the bersersker, but what do you think of the Raider? Its free 12% cast/ 12% more damage, over the 40% crit mult thats is less than 4% of a dps if we assume we already have 400% mult and 95% crit. And onslaught.
The other upside is you have to take the +40 dext that makes the HH less mandatory...
Anyway thanks for your build, it's really sick and i enjoy playing it as my first real lowlife.

I went raider too. Raider gives u free Faster Casting Gem on top of 12% more dmg and insane move\whirl speed pretty much 99% op the time. ele avoidance is just a nice bonus.

Hey Blasting Cap, may I ask your thoughts on running this as Witch, without Skyforth boots in Hardcore Perandus? Mainly in if it is squishy or even Atziri viable prior to picking up a pair of Skyforths? Thanks!

I'd becareful without some good gear before attempting this in PHC. Yes you can save on skyforth's and use occulist.

Squishy-ness will completely depend on your gear, focus on high ES and crit chance/multi. Our defense is essentially a strong offense with this build. High ES pool and high damage so mobs haven zero opportunity to apply damage before being shredded.

I spec'd into a scion and want to know which Ascendancy classes to pick for the scion (looking to kill Uber). with the 6 points, please specify the exact nodes to take! Because i would like to take out the leech life gem but confused how i would gain the life back through the nodes.

Updated stats section with screenshots of bladevortex dps/tooltips in different situations. These can serve as a guideline to compare to your own versions.

I chose not to tooltip warrior and use rallying cry and RF. All numbers screenshotted are using my exact scion links in guide.

Can you tell me "your" nodes you chose for ascendancy. i don't wasnt to mess it up
