I just got done burning all 6 portals in normal Atziri, can not make it past the trio

What am I doing wrong?

Had a fantastic evening upgrading my gear. Buying upgrades is almost as fun as playing sometimes. Even gambled a bit on some fuse and nailed the 6link. Gotta get some skyforths now..that grind is gonna take awhile...

I'm trying to modify this build a little bit after seeing Fyndel's approach to LL BV (https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/1732883).

He runs clarity lvl 21 on mana which saves us some trouble with mana regen. Additionally he opted for 3 Heralds as auras but abandoned Haste and Blasphemy (for cursing he's running 4L BV setup).

What do you think is a better approach in terms of DPS? In general the big pro is that Fyndel's build gives higher mana regen thanks to high lvl clarity. Currently I have a bigger free mana pool (around 320 mana). I got only 1 mana regen ring and it allows me to spam 6L BV up to 20 stacks without issues (without Spell Echo Gem).

can you guys post your dps without flask / and with ? i am at at 104k / 153k now and just wondering what is the highest around here :P

Hey man, great work. After watching you in action I decided to go for this, and finally im level 67 and thinking on swap to ES. But I have a question on the passive three for the pathfinder; why picking entropy and damage over time (near the ranger start)? Is for the skill duration on entropy, or does BV work as a damage over time skill?

Skill duration + DoT damage from our poison damage from PF ASC (master herbalist).

This is currently the gear I am wearing. However my damage seems to be very low. (4335 dps with auras) what I am missing here?

Most important thing is blade vortex lvl. Buy a 20/20 corrupted one , it will propably be really cheap. Then replace inc duration with inc crit strikes and multi gem with controlled destruction. Get spell damage + multi + crit on amulet. Get spell crit + spell dmg + ele dmg for spells + multi on dagger.Also get the taste of hate, vinktar's and atziri's promise and use a diamond flask.

Can't check you passive tree because you have your profile on private.So i can't help you there.

I'll try to grab some dps numbers when I log on later, but I doubt anything can beat my current setup on pure dps. (:P)

what gear are you using?

was just wondering if someone could check out the gear im using and see if they can help me with whats wrong. im sitting at 4845 ES with all auras up, and the dps is currently 12,134 before flasks and at 17,520 with flasks. im seeing all these insane numbers being put up for dmg and the only thing i can think is the gear is where its lacking. granted, the fact that my dagger being more for crit could prolly be the problem, but just wanted some input, also including in a spoiler the tree link to see if maybe thats the problem here.
