I myself, tried the added-spells version and found it lackluster to leech 20% of the added dmg. Since I had to use the Vinktar's quite judiciously and had to make each usage count. Phys->Lightning felt better. Depends on personal choice I guess. Dmg vs Leech.

Alright, that's what I thought. I suppose for temp leagues phys to lightning and Vaal Pact are the only real differences to this build.

Ok, so far, I've been saving up and am pretty close to getting a skyforth in league. Rest of my gear is absolute crap though but I am able to do all the maps I've played so far. (Stun lock still sucks though).

Might have to make some upgrades. Biggest of them is to level my Enlightens and Blood magic. I don't have any enlightens and no skyforth. So I've dropped the curse setup and am running all auras. (UIf it works, it ain't stupid :P ).

I did purchase a Rumi's concoction because I felt the block and defense it gives it just amazing. Although, I do feel very bad about dropping Atziri's promise. (Lovely dps increase). So for now, I'm just switching back and forth between Rumi's/Diamond's/Quicksilver/Atziri's promise on flasks. Also, planning on using Warlord's mark curse because it is actually a little tough to maintain Vinktar's Up in boss fights (if the fight doesn't end in a few seconds i.e) since it consumes 54 charges. As for curses, I might have to fiddle with it after skyforth and enlightens before I decide between Warlord/Vulnerability/Assassin's Mark.

So far, its a very enjoyable build. There are no GG rares or mirrored stuff, no legacy items or amazing vaal'd gems in league but still, that extra challenge makes it a lot of fun :D

hey im currently playing this build in the essence league and i dont know for which item i should go next or what to upgrade. currently i dont have that much money for a taste of hate or shavs.

I recently dropped a Shavronne's in the Essence league and decided to go for your build.
Well, since I'll have to come up with a budget version of your original build because I don't really think I'll have a Skyforth any time soon in the new league, I wanted to know your opinion about which class (Ranger/Shadow/Witch) should I go for, in this circumstance.

Reading your guide and some comments, even though the Pathfinder seems to be the best (in optimal conditions), I'm afraid I won't stack as much crit chance with little currency. I'm leaning towards the Shadow because of that. But I wanted to hear your advice, if you don't mind helping me in this.

Does the added-lightning support gem do a better job than phys->lightning?

I apologize if this has been addressed already but I didn't want to sift through the 115 pages to find the answer but is it worth it to get Force Shaper vs Throat Seeker? I currently have ~70% crit chance with PC up so Don't know if the crit multi would do more damage than the increase phys damage. Thoughts?

It's current. I use a legacy vinktars, take VP if using non legacy.

Lightning thorns. Any tips? It's the only thing that usually wrecks me and with Atlas it seems to be everywhere
