Very true imo. I would describe my build as a well rounded build, I have 10k+ ES and decent dps, some investment to duration / proj speed but not maxed. The problem with spark is when people go full dps / arena flood with it, but remember that those guys will have low defense, so simply rushing them may be a good counter. I would suggest a hard cap on spark range / duration in pvp, or if simply a reduction, then rebalance the gem that it has less base speed, but gains speed with levels, so further investment from gear / tree is less significant. I would also note that so far every top build was able to beat me, so I think the well rounded build is not OP but only the full dps flooders you described.

let me guess, 'top builds' are leg. kaom + acro 2h, some LA, and leg. kaom + acro EA?
that is simply represent deeply broken interaction between 10k+ hp pool, acrobatic and life flasks. even unnerfed, unbalanced spark damage can't deal with that shit.
