So I guess Im not sure on proper procedure since there is no download button on github unfortunately, but it seems like going to the raw mode version of the filter and using save as, then going back and deleting the .txt extension MS decided to add had resulted in a filter that loads w/o errors.

You can do that. If you go this route make sure to save the file with UTF-8 encoding!
But I suggest that you go to the link and then find the Releases tab. There you can download the latest release. https://github.com/Greengroove/GG-LootFilter/releases Another option is to click on "clone or download" button. The latter will always get you the latest version available. I agree that Github is a bit weird at the beginning. I am also a new Github user. But believe me that once you understand how it works it's actually pretty straight forward and easy. For that reason and for it's powerful features many people use it for their projects. I guess I could make a video tutorial someday. :p Greengroove's Loot Filter Scripts: poeurl.com/OMs

Ok, yeah, that place is much better than going to the raw script. Perhaps you could link there where you point at the downloads in the OP? Probably be very helpful to other github newbs like me.

Well I have already thought about it. The problem is that the current link will also show you the readme document. Maybe I can add a link to the readme instead.
Thanks for the suggestion. Greengroove's Loot Filter Scripts: poeurl.com/OMs

Hey Greengroove - just a suggested change. Your color scheme for quality flasks (blue text, purple border) is almost exactly the same as the color scheme for clasped hands in breaches. Might be worth changing it to something else, since in the madness of breaches taking a second to read will get you killed!

v2.5.0e - Update!
This update improves functionality, fixes the problem with Breachstones and adds a new theme. A new Optimized light version was added. Please note that Updating is strongly recommended (just in case if the Breachstones can be dropped by monsters). This was caused either by a client side bug or wrong information provided by GGG. Read the change log for all further details. Greengroove's Loot Filter Scripts: poeurl.com/OMs

" The text I'm using for magic items is the default game color. I can't really change this color without having to do drastically change the filter. Unlike many other filters I am currently not styling all drops. Some of them use the game defaults and therefore don't have an option to change their color. I also often use the same filter for both Magic and Normal items. The border, and label size will apply but the text color is used depending on the rarity. That being said You can definitely change the border and / or the entire color theme. You can preview the color themes here: https://github.com/Greengroove/GG-LootFilter/tree/master/Color%20Themes Personally I still think the default is the best. But all these Themes have been tested and should work fine. For this label in specific I don't really see a problem. The hand uses a purple text and red border. The text is small and it has a lot of background space. The example of flask uses a blue text and pink border. Breaches are very tricky! I think that the clicking on hands can be very deadly. I strongly suggest to use a very strict filter to avoid clutter! I am using a special version between full MF and endgame version. I released it yesterday in the 2.5.0e update. The version I'm referring to is called "GG 250d opti endgame Custom.filter". It is also less than half the size of the normal endgame filter since it doesn't have the racing filter. Hope that works for you. Thanks for the suggestion. If you have any others lmk. ;) Greengroove's Loot Filter Scripts: poeurl.com/OMs Last edited by Greengroove on Dec 10, 2016, 6:12:47 PM
