what makes these HLD porn, and not just a normal item showcase? WHat makes these that good for HLD?

I mean they're nice and I've questioned this thread before, but these doesn't seem to be "hld porn"?

10pen cuz 10pen in pvp as per usual

3w for easy gem swapping depending on who you're fighting is pretty handy

Life+ hybrid life instead of ez wed craft so can be used by trapper/miner/caster/attack builds as well with no waste

Low str/dex requirement for caster/trapper/miner

Basically a rare boot you can use across all builds, all your characters, and with 3w sockets you can freely swap around all gems you want. I'd have shit my pants if I saw these a few years ago in pvp.

DD is a great swap, but generally unneeded 99% of the time. Especially nowadays with rings being able to get the same Cannot Be Inflicted With Bleeding mod that DD has.

i think what's fascinating about HLD Porn worthy items is that they provide something that basic items can not or they provide something that you can't get from passive tree nodes.(or would take more than reasonable amounts of passive point investment to get equal benefit)

The latest example is Trav's "avoid projectiles" mirror worthy boots that he linked here. Avoid can't be redued with BCR, solely that makes those boots quite amazing for pvp. Even though they were mirror worthy, looking at them made me horny.

Let's try to think more of such horny maker items, for example one would be, pen + flask life recovery + reduced flask charges belt,

or a great ring with "bleed cannot be inflicted on you" mod,

or +2/+2 dialla's.

I think these are magnificient items and really makes you think, "wow such item would bring huge difference"

that said, even though 35% MS + 48 all resistances do appeal me more for pve and i don't think they bring huge difference compared to another pair of good rare boots, the item is still pvp related and worth to be exposed to pvp community. Moreover, everybody has different sexual preferences, surely tommie and i have hardcore tendencies as we like more brutal Porn stuff and expect such stuff to be exposed to public but that does not mean we should exclude Ahfack's long lasting married sex. ehm.

what i really don't like is, linking an item with shit loads of crit multi & crit chance and somebody promoting it as pvp item. We all know crit multi is shit in pvp. I'm sure you guys can figure out more examples like that and know what i mean.
