Emphasis on the anything that's inspired by part. As someone else said, unless you travelled through time from 2016 back to 2013, you could not have been inspired by the Talisman league when it did not exist at the time of your art's creation. You are stretching to make it valid when it is not, sorry.

Yes, i do have a time machine. the drawing is valid. write what u wish from now on, i don`t care; u are not the jury. :) the only thing that bothers you is that is not made recently- this is what drives u mad:)) and like i said let GGG decide. And I have finished this conversation.

Well.. he did comment on that fb photo.. it's good art nonetheless, I'm also pretty surprised but now I think it's up to GGG to decide if the 'time issue' is an issue.
Since the competition came out like a week ago I would think that GGG meant for the art to be created within the time, but they don't exactly have a rule page. :/

yes, you would think. to think is one thing, to know something 100% sure is another. where is the rule that says: "only artwork made within the specified date is allowed- please write the date on your artwork". there is none. 4 example - what if i had a drawing or painting with some stonehenge -style circle and some wolves arround and a druid with a staff in the center? an obviously very good idea for this contest. BUT WAIT, I made it in..2008! may i post it? of course, they say nothing about the date! or in another parallel universe: oops, there is a very very strict rule, i will NOT post it. right or not?

You could not have been inspired to make your art by the Talisman league when it did not exist at the time of your art's creation.
