  • Cheap, lots of damage, moderate clear speed.
  • Bandits: Life - Cast Speed - Skill Point
  • I have 5.9k life at lv90 but I still feel squishy as fuck. There doesn't seem to be a way to solve the problem (including running enfeeble + tc). Well I'm done with this build anyway, but I would definitely recommend this as for a league starter. (too much deeps)
  • Searing Touch is good.
  • Fuck non-leech builds and non-occultlist regen builds
BSC Inquisitor Blade Flurry (CI)

Dying Sun for general mapping; Rumi's for bossing.

Notes:
  • Can do all content deathlessly. (Shaper, Uber Atziri, Chayula, Guardians, and all other map bosses)
  • Bandits: Skill Point - Attack Speed - Power Charge
  • Skyforth is not needed for this build. It provided nothing but power charge generation. It's even more worthless after I dropped the 2 power charges from tree. The stun threshold doesn't really help vs stuns (I constantly get stunned by Uber atziri's spears.
  • The real pricy part that is needed to get this build running is the jewels. This build barely takes any "increased damage" or attack speed from the tree and therefore those properties from jewels are very valuable.
  • I did a major respec at lv95 - picking up duelist leech. The respec did lower my damage by approximately 20% but I would say it's totally worth it. I am still doing enough damage for all content in this game. Prior to the respec this character was extremely vulnerable to reflect and hard hitting bosses without Vinktar but with the 2% leech from duelist area, I am able to tank shaper's laser without Vinktar.

Notes:
  • Cospri's Will is not required. You can always pick up the extra curse from Occultlist ascendancy and use Consuming dark for the poison (which is more reliable in many circumstances where the enemy is not cursed).
  • Bandits: Life - Cast Speed - Skill Point
  • Trust me. Playing an ED build with little cast speed is one of the worst things you can experience.
ESC Chieftain Flame Totem
Build Highlights
  • Capable of clearing all 4 guardians (Chimera is a bitch because I always have trouble finding him out of the smokes), Uber Atziri, Uber Izaro, and Shaper.
  • Utlizes Blood Magic combined with Chieftain ascendancy nodes and does not give a fuck about map mods.
  • Totems taunt on hit and Flame Totems have high hit frequency - you are safe (most of the time).

  • Bandits: Life - Cast Speed - Power Charge

  • This is garbage.
Alternative Setups:
  • I use staff instead of dagger/wand for simple reasons: I want more base life from Kaom's (starting as Marauder and going crit means limited points in life if I want to achieve high damage); 6L staff is relatively cheap and you can always just roll with t6 Rage essence for the sweet 20% more damage.
  • +2 Fire Bow + Quiver: No need to worry about projecitle speed (I am currently using 4 jewels with projectile speed to make flame totem not as clunky, and with bow + quiver you can ahieve over 80% increased projectile speed), higher life (from quiver), lower damage (lower crit chance, cast speed and spell damage).
  • Dagger (Dual wield or + Shield): higher damage potential(not necessarily because of +2 on staff = 20% more damage) but lower life. Access to whirling blades/shield charge for improved mobility. Still have to worry about projectile speed.
  • Wand (Dual wield or + Shield): Same as daggers except you can get projectile speed on wands.
ESC Elementalist Vortex
Build Highlights
  • High whirl speed.
  • High clear speed when map does not have "Monsters cannot be affected by Elemental Status Ailments".
  • Reflect safe without Paragon of Calamity(single mob, not reflect map).
  • Ability to pick up an additional curse depending on the need.
  • Over 65% fire penetration; 50% and ~44% (depending on mob rarity) fire resistance reduction from Elemental Equilibrium and curse.
  • Shaper viable.
  • Cool black hole MTX (p2w).

Notes:
  • Bandits: Skill Point - Attack Speed - Skill Point
  • Build utlizes whirling blades for movement and burn double dipping thanks to Vortex's built in characteristic of "Modifiers to Spell Damage apply to this skill's Damage Over Time".
  • Doesn't have to be CI. Life based and low life are better. (life - tri-curse without any effort thanks to Doedre's Damning; low life - 30% more damage that double dips thanks to Pain Attunement. I went with CI because I was cheap. Low life was too expensive for me when I started this character.
  • Ignite immune mobs are a pain in the ass. Phoenix and Uber Atziri are not doable imo.
  • Look for spell/fire/area damage from jewels. They double dip.
  • Try to get added lightning damage to spells on your weapon so that the CWDT - Blade Vortex setup can apply Elemental Equilibrium effectively besides Elemental Overload. ***DO NOT GET ANY ADDED FIRE/COLD DAMAGE TO SPELLS ON YOUR ITEMS OR YOUR EE SETUP WILL BE RUINED***

  • Lioneye's Vision is not required and the build functions well without it.
  • Belly of the Beast and Lightning Coil are both solid options for suitability.
  • I am planning to hit 100 with this character and this is the planned tree.

Usually I run maps with innervate/pcoc based on map mods

(eg. curse immu -> pcoc; temp chains -> innervate)

DPS in that case is around 50k and that is more than enough to clear t13 maps.

I use it just because I need it to run Hall of Grandmasters since I will not rely on leech in that case. I don't need it for normal mapping. Using a flame golem for normal mapping works as well.

So at atziri video you are running without vaal pact and still leech that much? for this build vaal pact is more an anti reflect measure?

Still don't get why life regen if vaal pact, i'm sorry can't figure it out.

I was running life leech and vaal pact. I only spec out of VP for Hall of Grandmasters. Only swapped out faster projectile and pierce for increased duration and concentrated effect.

I do have some questions though:
Which bandits do you help?
Can I do this build as Trickster instead of Saboteur?
Why not spec into the powercharges for mines/traps cluster below eldritch battery?
When should I spec into Eldritch battry/zealots oath?

To your questions:

1. Triple blasphemy is totally worth it if you can find an extra curse from amulet. The main reason I did not go triple curse was I could not afford a +1 curse amulet when I was building my character. Using Doedre's Damning or Windscream = loss of HP and I decided to play safe with rare items that give me HP under HC scenario.

2. For bandits, I helped Oak, killed all, and killed all.

3. Trickster will work but it really isn't beneficial to mines besides the free ES (maybe movement skill as well) that makes sustaining the mana cost easier.

4. Again I built the character for HC and I wished to stay alive :P To utilize power charges I would be going crit, which requires a lot of point investment. For SC I suppose you can try going crit with assassin and here's my proposed Tree with 139% life and it will surely do good damage. In fact it will basically increase my damage output by more than 300% without changing my gear setup by much. However I believe it's overkill considering I am already killing everything in one shot. Sacrificing 40% life for more damage is not too much of a great idea for HC.

5. I spec'ed into EB/ZO/MoM once I found a 200es shield that I could equip. Before that I was carrying mana pots all the time and that sucked. You can actually go EB/ZO as soon as possible without much ES as long as you don't take MoM. Stone golem alone is enough to sustain the 6L mine cost but MoM will drain your ES way too quickly when you are heavily damaged.
