I don't think going for that much life regen is worth it. I'm playing a different but similar character right now and without any life regen on gear, 2.6% from tree, without Vaal Pact of course, is enough to sustain Blood Rage easily. Both have roughly the same life leech and I don't think I'll be changing that.
Mana is easily manageable if you manage to get Elreon Jewelry, I get enough res from everything else that I could go with an Amulet that gives some crit chance, some crit multi and -6 mana and all that gear with 1ex budget (although I did find some gear on my own so it's probably more like 1.5-2ex budget). If I had Rat's Nest and Maligaro's I could probably go without the Elreon but I don't think more mana leech is necessary. While googling some I actually found that Mathil was playing this on 2.0 doing what I was thinking (no Vaal Pact, +Master of the Arena) and I think that's the way to go about it. The rest of his tree was pretty much the same to what we already have and I think that once I farm enough with my other character and get Rat's Nest and Maligaro's Virtuosity I'll come back to this, do that and see how it goes. This is my current gear at the moment, I was thinking about putting points into Force of Nature and remove points from vaal pact and go into Heart of Oak also maybe Master of Arena but does ST even benefit anything from + weapon range? Intuitive Leap I may worry about this later levels like 93+ I'm still grabbing the socket node because I need the intel badly. But I'll probably just put a nice rare jewel in the socket for now. I can really use a belt upgrade also I've been trying to roll a 27% crit on my sword but I've got 22% three times in a row. I need a vaal haste & grace though :(

Hey,just respecced an old char into this,man the clearspeed is VERY fast,but i have a few questions
My Gear atm( trying to get a 6l belly soon,will hit around 3,8k-4k life with it,the most is just crap i grabbed for a few chaos and the gems are just bought off

" Ok cool those were the two I was going to aim for, I'm just wondering in later levels if it's worth grabbing more 5% life nodes in constitution wheel or go for more sockets. I made the swap out of vaal pact, I have 87 health regen at lv72 with 3.3k hp still losing health with blood rage but not as much and I can't even notice the vaal pact life steal atm.
