If you want a dedicated purchase of the armor, buy it when it goes on sale in February. If you cannot handle gambling, don't.

GGG has been clear that you get a random MTX from these boxes. If you could not duplicate then you would buy one for every possible mtx, get them all, and GGG would lose serious cash. The Lynx will probably be 250 GGGold, just like the Lightning Bat and the Infernal Fox. Getting that for a guaranteed 15 points is ridiculous. Expecting to get it for 15 points is delusional.

You are guaranteed to not get an MTX worth less than your 15 points. You are guaranteed to get a winter-themed MTX. Those are the only two guarantees involved in this deal.

I guess this is a new low for me but here it is:

10 boxes, hoping for a piece of gear or pet, got none :(

1 x Arctic Armour
2 x Northern Lights (why can't I stack these? stack max is 100 it says)
3 x Snow hideout effect
4 x Arctic Ice Nova FX
150 points down the drain, I learned my lesson.
No more MTX boxes for me this round, better luck next time :)

Why not something like Dota 2 system where you are guaranteed to get some set if you roll enough times ... ?

Arcana set 1/5 chance, after 4 failures, fifth is guaranteed.

Not gonna waste more than 45 points just so i can have 30 arctic lunas and 40 snow decorations.

Each MTX should have equal chance to roll.

And yet again ggg is confronted with a wall of hate. It is a gamble. You gamble on your own risk. Gambling can be rewarding, but there is no guarantee to get your desired item like you are used to.

The only reason why its so seducing is the possibility to
-obtain mtx earlier than other players
-get some exclusive mtx
-get a mtx cheaper with 15 points which can be up to 250 points worth

So please calm down and don’t give ggg shit for your actions. Its kinda like the “I died its your fault” mentality.

I am glad people spent their points to support ggg and I will too this afternoon, but in a calm matter. One box one opening and so on like on st patricks day and those infernal theme gamble packs.

You simplified it way too hard. A simple dice roll example wont suffice here. It is more like roulette. But whatever example you pick, my post still stands untouched. It is a gamble. This thread start to make me angry because people just jump on the negative train just to be a part of it. Did you spend points already? Did you realized most of the mtx can be bought later?
