Looks good would like to see a video as well.
Will update thread soon in couple hours. Got a short video and stuff.

Couple changes / additions are coming up.

*To people who pm'd me --> I would rather have you post your questions or opinions in thread so that I can give a complete answer that might benefit everyone.

I have been playing a slight variation on this build, and I absolutely love it.

Here are a few thoughts I have on this particular build.

There are many defensive options that you can take with Hybrid ES/Life, you could take the Corrupted Energy Jewel to allow you to split damage between ES and life pool, although it would only work well if your ES pool is roughly the same as your life pool, which I didn't achieve (2.7k life before Clarity and 5k ES). You could also take Bino (which I am using) and this will regenerate your ES pool upon killing a poisoned enemy, the regen is ludicrously high (about 5k to 10k and more per second depending on the damage dealt I think), I am using the life leech gem and ghost reaver keystone, but if you play more cautiously, you can definitely do without, in fact, you could use life leech to leech life while using Bino to regen ES if you use Corrupted Energy.

A big problem is stun, since my character (and yours judging by the character sheet) has a low health pool to 2-3k, and chain stunning is horrible for us, I mitigate this somewhat by using CWS IC and the Practical Application cluster in the witch's starting area, which give 55% chance to avoid stun while casting, alongside with another 50% with ES, it helps the stun somewhat. Regarding freeze, I think using a Dream Fragment will help a lot and it will provide us with decent mana regeneration (which we desperately need), although sacrificing a ring slot definitely hurts. I also run a Iron Skin Granite Flask and Taste of Hate (got really lucky with drops) to reduce physical damage and help with stun.

If Bino isn't used, I find that using a Kongming's Strategem unique shield is pretty good as a defensive mechanics, socket trap, multi-trap and desecrate in there, and the smoke cloud on depend and reduce spell damage taken is huge for survivability, although coloring that thing is a nightmare (average 200 I think with Vorici 2G, I used 125, which is 5 attempt). Also, since Infernal Mantle give some crit, you could also go semi-crit with a Jaws of Agony, socket the same set of desecrate gem in there, and power charge will help you get to around 20% or even more crit chance, which is fairly decent and helps with bosses and blue packs (although, for bosses, a VDD is probably gonna to one-shot it anyway).

And one final thing, I think using a level 1 DD might be better since the damage doesn't scale, only the flat one does and it's kind of pointless, a level 1 DD will cost much less mana and this will help with Infernal Mantle since you don't have to manage mana at all.

Yeah, I thought about Life leech. It's just, I never got myself on a 6L lol. The 50/50 Phys to Life ES jewel is only good in some situations. It requires somewhat more life than 1 life : 3 es ratio and some sort of mitigation. End-game, you'll mostly die to extreme bursts of damage and should have some Chaos resist, being hybrid.

Haven't had too many problems with being chilled with my flask. Stuns aren't that much of a problem. You should never be tanking stuff with this kind of build. Stun recovery or Avoid stun stuff is fine if you feel like you need it.

Trap smoke shield is alright. Being Life ES, I'd rather have an extra 2000 ES to my pool. You also lose the ability to Block anything.

Crit requires some investement in gear and passives. I have around 4k-6k Chaos damage flat on my DD. I don't think that mixed with low crit % and multiplier is worth it as most damage comes from the monster's life.

Level 1 Detonate dead gem could actually be nice if you don't wanna manage your Mana pool. I'm estimating that lv76 average monsters have around 15k-20k life something. 5000 damage extra isn't that bad to have. If you take into account Vaal DD on bosses --> 15 corpses max from desecrate is actually worth getting all the damage you can get.

Note: 50/50 Phys chaos Life ES jewel, I've thought about it, but I might have found something that would really make it valuable. Will update thread soon with stuff.

Vaal DD is leveled of course since it costs no mana, with level 1 DD, I could potentially free up a aura cluster, which is very good. Also, I think if you invest a bit more into mana and carry a potion, you could use the Corrupted Energy Jewel with MOM to further mitigate damage, although I am not sure if it would work that way, although it is my understanding that it goes: ES > MOM pool > Life, so the 50% physical damage would be mitigated by 30%, so I would take 35% of the physical damage dealt to my life, which roughly means that I can mitigate a big phys hit up to 3 times my health, around 8k EHP against large physical hit, which is fairly good considering that's about the same as all my ES and Life plus together, so for a big hit, I think I could potentially withstand the same amount with and without the jewel.

The thing with crit is that for this build, you aren't investing a lot for a somewhat moderate damage boost, since all you need is a shield slot (this is more of offence over defense approach) for Jaws of Agony, and power charges point if you want them, and you get around 10% or so additional crit, although it is probably not worth it.

I just wonder approximately how much DPS do you have in this video. And DPS is important for this build or not ? I ask this because i played your build for 3 days and ı cannot use detenote dead effectively.

Thank you for this enjoyable build

Sitting at 4k-6k detonate dead flat damage. The actually "dps" is like 10k-12k something. It does take a bit of time to build up the damage just like most build. 20Q gems will help immensely when you reach that level.

I ended up making a DD character in Talisman. I just made up something I thought looked good, leveled it and have been loving it. My design choice is slightly different than Petit's. I don't think there's enough of a difference to post a new build guide on it. I hope you don't mind me posting my skill tree here.

My links are:
DD - FC - Echo - Inc Aoe - Conc - Void Manip

You can view my profile and the character name is ThaiShaeos for the other links and gear. I've nowhere near optimized the gear as most of it was left over from another character.

I've been messing around with
and it works alright. I imagine it'd work better with the higher ES pool. I've been killed twice by the same exile because I've used it poorly, other than that it has been working wonders. (Thena I think the name is, shield charging one.)
