Don't get me wrong it's still fine to use Ascenaths if you cant afford Atziri Gloves but dmg wise they just offer ALOT more (up to 50 Int. more than Ascenaths!) Would you mind posting a scion tree? I started whispering ice using the Avatar of Fire build and would be interested to see what I could do with the respec. Either way, thanks!

" Sure, I can add a Scion tree as well! :) Also your gear reminds me of the icestormer I played back in warbands. When I started I also focused on rare ES gear with high INT which is very good to start with. Later when I did build up some currency I got more unique gear step by step, so ur on the right path! :) EDIT: Here's the Scion tree you requested! :) It's basicly just like the witch tree but a little less point efficient endgame but not too big of a deal really.

Awesome, that's exactly what I wanted! Any chance you add gear prioritization sometime? I see your recommended and must have gear but not any order to go about getting it.

" Ur welcome! :) Uhmmmm gear prioritization is a difficult topic imho cuz it allways depends on what you can drop to afford/use the next piece. I can tell you the 1st unique pieces I equipted tho. Astramentis!!! Get that asap imo. As said in the build showcase it's also really good for leveling with whispering ice. A while after I got myself a Shavs (they arent as expensive as they used to be anymore, a clean one will do and 6S it urself...) Than the 2x Perandus, Vertex and the other uniques are quite cheap (bated breath, rainbows/sin trek).... Hey Zahk,
any thoughts about the new Skyforth Boots for this build ? I played a full CI version of this build until 2.0, but it sucked to have either a) wear Chayula or b) spec into Unwavering, these Boots should be good for CI/Low life, allowing you to wear Astramentis / a high Int Amulet. |
