A Whisper In Darkness (Shadow Origin Story)

I'll be reading everything of yours since Lifting Nerd Gaming channel shared two of them. This is the third I read. I have a question; Why did you picture Shadow a slave of a guild and not killing of his own free will? I imagined him to have freely grown up in a gang family (hence his tattoos, his sense of humor/sardonism, and everything being an innuendo). Forgot to mention that you have a way with words most do not. Hope you write more in the future, regardless of it being Path of Exile related. I'd read anything you write.

So I pictured the Shadow as someone who grew up willing to kill (and likely very good at it in order to survive on the streets as long as he did), which lines up with how you view him. The guild didn't really "teach" the Shadow, it's more like they refined what was already there (and is the reason why they took him, along with the other children - far easier to train those who already show an aptitude).
