No, but I did expect to be able to see the effect when I zoom out.

These new effects made Aspirant pack really awesome! I'd definitely buy if I had money to spend. Can't wait to see all the effects on others in town :)

My favorite weapon effect is challenger followed by aspirant.

My favorite portal remains sovereign but is followed by aspirant.

Generally though, I love all the portals.

I appreciate the fact that additional effects were added in these supporter packs. However, I guess I will forever wait for packs that are similarly beautiful as the Regal, Eternal, etc, packs were. I regret it every time I think about it, that I did not know about Path of Exile when those packs were available. None of the effects available compare and I am so butthurt about not having been able to buy the Regal one. >:c

The Sovereign weapon effect looks pretty sweet and unique, but that pack is also $440...I'd also want to point out that the portal effect for that pack does not match the rest of it at all. o.O

I think in terms of supporter packs, the Forsaken Masters packs were the best out of the ones that I was able to acquire.

Anyways.. perhaps one day there will be nice new unique weapon effects that change the color pallet in PoE up a little bit. As it stands now, all that is common in PoE is orange, golden, green and more orange. I would love to see tones that are more of the silver side of things.

My favorite weapon effect color wise, that is still available, has to be the Lavender Effect..and that one, among other effects, doesn't even work properly on all weapons.

And don't get me wrong, these effects look great on their own. Some are more lacking than others, but they all have their pro's.
