I'll change to Heir just in case- and it sounds pretty cool.

I was right on my second guess on the Witch though (Occultist)

So only the Marauder & Scion are left. I'm sticking with my original guesses...

If my guesses for them were still Shaman and Diletante for the entries.

Your description for the Occultist was very good, too bad you went for Hexer instead.

Right, your submissions for those two are Shaman and Dilettante.

Avatar - still sounds cooler than "Elementalist" I think
Occultist - win but I got lucky

Scion
Queen - still hoping for it, though "Prodigy" does sound really good

Templar
Guardian - I feel bad for winning it since I just looked at someone else's answer
Judge - no way I could have ever guessed "Hierophant"

Shadow
Rogue - a okay loss, "Trickster" sounds cool

Ranger
Hunter - kinda mad at "Pathfinder", such a random name, doesn't represent the class

Marauder
Brute - a okay loss, Berserker sounds definitely better
Tribal - still hoping for it, though "Shaman" has some potential too

Hey Raics, what exactly are the penalties and how are they calculated?

Looking back Hexer was probably too "Edgy" - The reason I thought that would have been a possible name because that was the name of a Curse-Focused Character in a RPG from Atlus. Occultist though seems to fit much better with the terminology Path of Exile uses though plus we have the word already used in the Passive Tree as well.

Obviously i deserve +100 in the penalty column, considering everybody stole their idea's from my post.

It's explained below the leaderboard, if you guessed 'elementalist' right you get -9 because there were 9 other people that used 'elementalist'. It isn't really a big deal, the number will be used only if guess count and description evaluation result in a tie.

So, if Slayer and you end up with equal number of guesses and same number of description points he will take the first place because his submissions were perceived as more unlikely. His betting odds were lower, so to speak.

Exactly, this is gambling, if you go mainstream you're more likely to win but you gain less. Same as betting which names prince Harry will pick for his kids (if any).

Ok, Chieftain is out, resulting in zero hits.

The most popular was Shaman by far, with 11 entries but all others were unique, strangely enough.

Seems that's it for today, and we'll have to wait for next friday to see what our favorite blonde was up to and who won the contest :)
